  1. Great news silz! I hope my copies arrive today then!! Have fun with it!!
  2. I think you'll find 95% of all posters here will say extreme. I'll be one of them once my damn post gets here!!
  3. I'm in the 80,900's, and have 4 copies coming to me. My post is due in about three hours. We'll see. . . I hope those of us that ordered mutipule copies are not getting put on the back burner. That would be very unfair, and very uncool. [ September 25, 2002, 03:20 PM: Message edited by: Vader's Jester ]
  4. I have copied all of CMBO's bmp and wav files to a CD, so that if I decide to drop CMBO, it'll be a breeze to reinstall as I had last saved it with all mods in place. But I very seirously doubt I'll be taking it off anytime soon anyway.
  5. Oh, I got'cha. I thought you wanted a whole section of say, woods, to go translucent when a unit entered. Your idea has merrit then. [ September 25, 2002, 01:29 PM: Message edited by: Vader's Jester ]
  6. Wait a sec! The 105mm recoiless rifle was available in June of '41?!! I know it said rarity was 100%, but it costs less than a Pak38 fer god sakes; IN THE SAME TIME PERIOD! I would have thought a 50mm AT gun would be much more likely than a recoiless rifle at the start of Barbarossa! I thought recoiless didn't start making the scene until '44? Any grogs care to explain? 7. Oh, god. That sucks for modders that want to use an original BTS set of bmps to create a mod when their installed game already has a mod for that particular unit.
  8. No reason to. Just turn 'em off, plot all your orders, the turn 'em back on to sparse coverage if you don't like them obstructing your view. I think a lot more people would be upset with translucent trees than without them. I know I would. They would make the battlefield look that much more artifical. For buildings it makes sense, because they obstruct your view 100% if your men are inside, but trees? No, not realy. [ September 25, 2002, 12:36 PM: Message edited by: Vader's Jester ]
  9. It'll be here today. It's gotta be here today! Dosen't it mommie?
  10. I saw one version of the Me-110 in one screenshot as well.
  11. Wow. I never noticed that! Maybe because I never even got close to running one out of ammo before it died.
  12. Groovie. Thanks redwolf. It should be here for me today!
  13. WTF? I'm in California, and thus should have recived it before any Cannucks have! Oh well. Congrats.
  14. Welcome newbies to the greatist wargame series ever made.
  15. I like the western front, but the east front has always been much more interesting to me. I'm glad BTS moved in that direction. Trust me, the more you learn about the east front as you play this game, the more exciting and interesting it will become to you. East front ROCKS!!
  16. That is awesome! Where is my copy DAMN IT! It sould have been here today. Oh well, till tomorrow. . . .
  17. I don't think it matters much. I was in the 80,900's and still don't have mine here in good ole California.
  18. Hey, if we get water splashes from the MG bullets, then do we get fountains of water gushing up from where large shells hit? Not just the sound, by a grapich representaion?
  19. Thanks Vader, has your mail come yet? We might even have to fire up a QB soon!</font>
  20. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It sure as hell better be in my mailbox tomorrow, or I'm gonna start talkn 'bout how my three years of business school makes BTS suck, and how Steve and Martin think they are demigods, and how 'Matt the Bouncer' dosen't know that the customer is always cranky, and how. . .
  21. LOL! Sadly, my postal carrier has come and gone. No love for Bakersfield California today. Anyone know a good CM blues song? [ September 23, 2002, 06:33 PM: Message edited by: Vader's Jester ]
