For what it's worth, I picked up TvT from Gogamer.com a few weeks back for $16.90 and must say I think it's worth it. I haven't tried MP yet because it's supposedly very buggy. But there was some homebrew(un-official) MP patches created awhile back. Hmmm, planes, parachutes, hey Juno, play much of Company of Heroes or Codename Panzers RTS games? Don't expect anything near the amount of eye candy you get in a typical RTS game. BF is a tiny dev team in comparison, just don't have the manpower and resources for all the bells and whistles. Their more about the core game and not the flare. Have you tried the CMSF demo yet?

Not to mention there will most likely be beach landing scenarios/mods made shortly after release anyway. As for making an official beach landing module, why the hell bother, theres far more bigger fish to fry than this. Just go watch SPR again for your beach slaughter fix.

My first score is a typo, not sure what I got, ran out of ammo around rd 11-13. Just played it again, finished all 15 rds with a final score of 180,800. Technically, you could record the elevation and velocity numbers for each round and eventually get a perfect score. At least, for those with too much time on their hands. :eek:

Based on some the gameplay videos I've seen, it does look kinda arcadey. Am certainly looking forward to the demo for final judgment. With the success and popularity of the Silent Hunter series, there's definitely potential with PT boats.

Simple and to the point and I couldn't agree more. Although there's no way to prove it, I'd be willing to bet that most CMers brushed aside the ToW series for obvious reasons. Two distinct groups translates to no competition. But in ToWs defense, it is easily the most realistic WWII RTS game out there and boy there are alot of them. ToW series = more Mtn. Dew jacked up RTS-like crowd CM1+2 = slower bengay cerebral thinking crowd

To be honest, I really only expected 1 or 2 families for the East Front. I too had no idea BF are essentially doing the whole war, at least for the big players Germans/Russians. Ok, I'm ready to pre-order! Assuming the East Front families are the last before the new engine rewrite for CMSF2. Then it's true after all, BF has saved the best for last!

Will the separate families be connected or share-able? As in, can Family-A use AFV-B from Family-C? It would be great to have all these families able to come under one roof for a long unit list. Edit: Beat me to to it 76mm. Oh and yeah, I must confess too, I won't miss the minor nations either.

I felt the same way but one day thought "Ah what the hell, I'll try em anyway!" and never went back. Besides, if you don't like them you can just easily delete them out. Speaking of which, hasn't anybody made a high drama, intense, action pack video yet? Maybe not just from a single battle but several clips from various battles strung together of dramatic camera angles.
