  1. The problem is compounded by the fact I see time and time again my Warrior's firing off HE against BMPs. Sure it destroys it, but also blows right through like half the HE loadout when they got well over a 100 AP ammo. I take it the loadouts can not be altered in the editor? If not, well then thats just plain lame.
  2. Oh I know Blackcat, was just goofying around with you. The preview post button is right next to the submit reply button. Unless your doing the quick reply option in which case you have the "Go Advance" button next to it. Also, in case you haven't change it, go to your options in the UserCP and at the bottom change it to "Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing". I also prefer the forum skin Classic UBB style, it's more military-like.
  3. Dude, just use the "Preview Post" button when testing. It shows you exactly what your post will look like. You never actually have to make a post to test stuff out. So now I will accuse of padding your post count, haha nice try, your busted!
  4. Makes me think of how miniscule I am and then how miniscule this comment is. :eek: But everyone knows this was all made in 7 days by a man with a beard who can also turn water into whine.
  5. And all the sounds! Not much point in jacking up the QB pts to 10,000 unless of course you want the turns to take hours to compute. Not to mention the 1-2 FPS you'd get with that many units, an unplayable mess IMO.

  8. IIRC, it can take quite awhile to clear a minefield, up to around several minutes possibly. I consider this something the game should tell the player in the soldier status at bottom left is when you engineers are clearing mines. Hasn't somebody run tests on this before?

  10. I agree, this does need to be tweaked. This happens all the time.
  11. Just don't forget to unlicense from your old PC when transferring to a new PC. I think, but could be wrong, your only allowed to have the game on two PCs at a time.

  13. The snipping tool works great on the desktop, but can't get it to capture CMSF in-game. :confused:

  16. IIRC Steve said something along the lines of, it will be more similar to the old CMx1 QB system compared to the new CMSF one. This is in relation to purchasing/acquiring your units in QB.
  17. It's free and easy to use: http://www.rarlab.com/ Just click the "Extract to" button at the top and choose where you want to put the file. Obviously in this case you want to put it either in the cam or scen folder. Also don't forget to use the drop-down arrow since it remembers where you put things. Much quicker when manually finding the correct place for a file. After a 40 day trial period a box will pop up when you run it wanting you to buy it. Just close it and use normally, no big deal.
  18. But what about the cowbell lovers group? Are they hard to cater too as well? P.S. Yes I know the cowbell joke is over done by now. But I can't help myself, gotta have more cowbell.
  19. Is this still a planned feature? I thought it was scrapped awhile ago or at least shelved until CMSF2.

  21. There is a tutorial campaign IIRC. No text from the manual to accompany the scenarios, other than whats mentioned in the mission briefings.
