  1. Finally, somebody has chucked Gladiator, 300, and porn into the blender for a nice juicy blend. LOL
  2. Basically two places, BFs own repository here... http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=314&func=select&id=2 ... and GreenasJades site here http://cmmods.greenasjade.net/
  3. Hands down, the biggest letdown of all time has gotta be E.T. for the Atari 2600. The game was whipped together in less than six weeks and was essentially broken.
  4. Interesting, I've never seen a donkey dung sea cucumber before. Let alone a whole vat of them.
  5. Just wanted to post a quote from a genius, didn't want you jackasses missing out on a spectacular post. No need to thank me, your welcome!
  6. "I just need a little more tequila and a woman with questionable moral character." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYW9bouHca8&feature=related Heee haaa !!! lol
  7. None, good idea though, but not really needed. Although the guy on the right is Ray, he has a memorable rough Eastwood-like voice.
  8. Oh sweet, so will it also install a virus too?
  9. Umm, I'm of course referring to the pop-up box giving you a choice.
  10. I received a phone call the other day, it was the "Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood". Great game, especially for those that like westerns.
  11. I'm in the same boat as you guys, though probably less vocal about it. I pretty much shelved CMSF at 1.03 and really picked it back up at 1.10, now even better at 1.20. I knew they were gonna work out the kinks, this is their baby and pride & joy. Perhaps in the end, all the WWII fans which were disappointed with BFs move to modern warfare might be glad for it. Since the launch of CMN in all likelihood will be much smoother and more bug-free than CMSF was.
  12. While we're at it, why not have the enemy's surrender an option, much like how the cease fire works in H2H? If you choose to decline, then the enemy could slowly and in a disorganized fashion run off the map where the designer designates as the retreat side. Bottom line, people, myself included, love to mop up the enemy. Especially when your devising a plan and it's just about to come to fruition and the battle ends. Or maybe right before a big arty or air strike just to have the fireworks show cut short. Give us the option!
  13. Here I thought it was the big Normandy update with the new forum and screenshots.
  14. Well the Apache is known to be the "Drunken Shotgun of the Gods", the title from that thread about this problem. I sure as hell don't know how accurate CMSF is to the Apache in real life. But I know everytime I send in an Apache I cringe and at least make sure everybody is in cover and hiding.
  15. Hehe, yeah a true classic IMO, I saw it in the theatre a few times as well. A pretty original idea for a movie too and the predator creature/character is probably one of the best ever created. Or at least one of the most memorable. Never realized back then Jesse the body Ventura was the real deal, being a Navy Seal in nam. Oh and yes, his characters mini-gun was unbelievably unrealistic, but you know what, nobody cared, especially when cutting a swath through the jungle like it. "Old Painless is waitin!" Ahh sweet, I didn't know about that. Speaking of 80s movies, Red Dawn is being remade and Clash of the Titans too. Oh yeah and a new Tron: Legacy is on the way as well. Wow, talk about a full hijacking of a thread LOL, sorry OP.
  16. There's already been a thread started about this movie. http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=87798&highlight=hurt+locker My only question at this point is, when the hell is it going to be released nationwide? Apparently it's still a limited release despite having a bunch of commercials for it and rave reviews as well.
  17. Well, look at the bright side, we got more excuses to jack up our post counts! Btw, does anybody else like me scramble to try and fix typos and whatnot before seeing your post get the "Edited by.." stamp? I strive for perfect posts, hate to see it all go to waste with the edited stamp.
  18. Thats great, was not aware of this. Thanks for the response.
  19. I think there should be more end-campaign feedback or at least better tweaked. As it is now it just shows the accumulated stats of the previous scenarios. I consider this a bare minimum and more stats aren't necessarily needed. But some kind of handy "book-like" screen where you can flip through different pages showing the end of battle stat screens of the previous battles. Maybe even a screenshot made by the designer could be used for background for each scenario for better flavor. Also maybe show a link to load that scenarios end of battle file so the player can zoom around recalling the battle. Then auto-save it to a handy .... AAR.cam, no need to have separate end of battle saves, it'll all be in one AAR save. I think alot of people like to keep old end of battle saves, especially campaigns. I don't know, I guess what I'm trying to say is that it could be better packaged up. I know small things like this probably won't translate into more sales. So would get knocked down the priority list.
  20. Yeah most are aware of this site(I'm a member) and the other ones. But a place to bring everybody together is much needed. Also the average Joe who only sees the direct-connect/PBEM option in the game probably doesn't even bother registering here at the BF site, let alone another club/ladder site.
  21. So is it possible to give a thread starter unlimited editing ability? As pointed out, Winecapes Normandy recap thread is the best example. I think the original thread starting post should have this option. If not then couldn't this be given on a special basis for those kinds of threads?
