  1. Kinda like how we were able to have winter unis in the CMx1 games. It's just kinda lame seeing my forces and my enemy wearing the exact same uniforms. You know, for those red vs. red or blue vs. blue scenarios. Couldn't it be possible to have an extra or alternate uniform for mirrored infantry? Just open up a use-able slot, the modders have already made multiple unis for infantry. I'm assuming this has been brought up before. But if not for CMSF, then how about for future games, CMN and beyond?
  2. And here it is, Meats Red Dawn Intro for CMSF. Enjoy!
  3. Yeah I loved it too, but it is cheesy in that 80s sort of way. It was great back then, but now it's more nostalgic than anything else. Hmmm, I just got a mod idea....
  4. Bardosy, completely and utterly off-topic, I just finished your excellent Arma2 campaign "Chesty Puller". I'm of course assuming your the same bardosy there. Was good stuff, thanks. I've been going through a Arma2 binge lately, and thought I recognized your name.
  5. Uh oh, looks like we got one these these guys here.
  6. Ok that verifies it, I'm correct as usual. Thank you and good night! Keep talking everybody, somebody is bound to slip up, hehe.
  7. Wrong. And wrong again, I precisely asked Steve about this sometime between the Marines release and Brits release. To my surprise he replied saying an outside group is working on the Brits module. So as to who is working or worked on what, I think it goes something like this. BF did CMSF and Marines all in-house. They helped a third party with Brits module and now another third party(Snowball) with Afghanistan. So my question still stands, what are the guys behind the Brits module doing? I hope they're still working with BF, perhaps on NATO or CMN to some extent.
  8. Haha, hopefully the release of CMN will be much more, standing-ovation-like and not the shaking-heads-like that CMSF was.
  9. Here's a real question: the guys who made the Brits module, what are they working on now? Since I'm assuming that NATO and CMN is being worked on only by BF. And obviously Afghanistan is being built by the Russian guys Snowball, with of course help from BF.
  10. BF doesn't believe in foreplay, it's gotta be all or nothing.
  11. I mentioned making a Red Dawn campaign for CMSF awhile back. But agree, the Afghanistan game would be a better fit. Let's just hope the remake will do the original movie justice.
  12. Reloading is great for experimentation or learning purposes. But don't overdue it, it can become a bad habit. Now if there was a full-playback feature of a battle in the game. Then I could see people doing it more often to conduct, ahem, the perfect attack/assault to watch and showoff later. But we may never see this feature in the game anyway. P.S. Hoolaman, where the hells my turn? I wanna finish driving out your uncon scum from the circus. hehe
  13. This just in, Steve is a Long live The Kids in the Hall
  14. Actually I already downloaded this scenario a long time ago. I never did get around to playing it though. I'll certainly give it a look, thanks.
  15. No worries man, that thread gave me the same impression until I read that last part. I was just about to download it too.
  16. No offense, but have you even read this thread? Here's a quote from the scenario description you linked to: This is exactly what I'm not looking for.
  17. It doesn't have to be grounded in realism, more for just fun. But surely small local red counterattacks is certainly plausible. On the other hand it could be fun holding back the big blue assault. Also with the Marines red units added, they could even repulse one completely. Also I've noticed there are very few scenarios with the AI on the attack. I'm assuming this is because the AI is still piss poor on the attack. It seems that way based on the few scenarios I played with the AI attacking me. But seems possible though, the "3:10 to Yuma" scenario had a good AI attack. I take it it's difficult designing an attack that works?
  18. Or how about any blue vs. blue scenario/campaigns? But mostly after a well balanced/designed red vs. blue(army/marines/brits AI) campaign. Just tired of the blue vs red(AI) or red vs. red stuff. Just don't see many battles designed for a red player vs. a blue AI. I'm itching to take on the big boy Abrams/Bradley/Marines, etc.
  19. So you rummage through other peoples closets? Good ol Emrys, never ceases to amaze me.
  20. I heard that BF will re-introduce all the old bugs, as a sorta trip down frustration lane, redux. Then they will take the year off and pretend/act like they're working hard fixing it. All while vacationing and slowly trickling out the patches. The community will praise and cheer them, since we're all jackasses.
