Look, showers are really not necessary. We do not mind how Mord smells... And CW is way overrated Mord. You wouldn't like it at all. So, no worries re wasting your time playing it.... Seriously, plz have fun and don't burn out. The fact is that there will ALWAYS be more mods to do, as the modules come on line, and you may find yourself tweaking even more. Best to go with "good enuff" for now, have fun playing, and maybe consider a redo after Bulge.

Well, I could try and accumulate all the early war CM1 mods I have and see if we can exchange large files of them via drop box or somesuch. Between the two of us we probably have got all of them (or close to it). If you are really into waiting, BF will probably have a bundle price when Market Garden comes out. They seem to be making an effort to come up with at least one module per year, maybe sooner. But, the CM2 AI is really quite good compared to CM1. I much prefer campaigns as I enjoy the force and ammo preservarton aspects vs the "there is no tomorrow, so everyone can die and you can have no ammo left but if you win, that's all that counts" philosophy of individual scenarios. And you can't really play CM2 campaigns vs a human - it would take a lifetime, and just about all campaigns are designed for play vs the AI anyway.

It's a game in itself to send teams that only have rifles to WIA guys who had SMG's and LMG's so they can up-arm themselves. This is especially important in campaigns as they keep those new weapons in the next mission.

Don't mean to be a nag, but if the windows are dirty the part that is to be swept by the wipers also looks dirty in your pic... (And don't forget to add streaks where the wipers would pass. Only brand new wipers clean completely.)

Yes, it is strange that the insurgency in Syria hasn't been more successful than the Iraq one was vs the US. But, then probably(?) the US was hamstrung by ROE's and the Syrians are not.

I have been trying to locate what mods there are for early war. But, now with so many CM version games available, it's tough to focus on more than one or two. I play CM1 tournies at BOB H2H and they are terrific. But, CM2, I only enjoy vs the AI. CM2 AI is good and the large scenarios I like are too complex to play vs a human... too slow.

Have to persuade wife to get iPad 3 as a work necessity...

Running as Admin is not always the solution. Sometimes one's antivirus can do a number. ZoneAlarm Toolbar is infamous for blocking CM2 games from running regardless of Admin status.

I actually think that paranoia for tankers or any troops in wartime would be quite common. So, quite realistic that they would see Tigers and ghost tanks everywhere, and maybe that shadow moved! So, let's get outta here or blast the hell out of it...

Hehe... the windshield on my car is often as dirty as in your pic and that's merely after a day or two of drizzle, not driving thru mud, ditches, bocage, and burning oily smoke etc...

Did you do all those sky mods etc at CMMODS? I was amazed at how many new CM1 mods were now available at CMMODS. And they all look very good.

Rationale 836/b-c5: CMBN depicts troops in highly stressful situations and they do have to blow off steam in some way occasionally.

The lowly jeep and kubel have always been one of my favorites even from CM1 days. Suggest more mud on the windshield for the wipers to have wiped. The dirty parts still look too clean. Also, didn't they usually have the windows in the down position? Is that possible as an alt? Is it also possible to have that vertical wire cutter bar the jeeps had welded in the front after the Germans strung wire across roads to behead bikers and jeep riders?

Never seen one like that in WW2 pics. Where was it used most?

No need to copy the entire game. All one really has to do is create a new BMP folder for ETO mods and swap and rename that as required.
