I have to admit the hardcore wargamer in me was disappointed at the prospect of squares vs. hexes. Since then, I have aquired Civ III, and I have to say that it does work quite well. The way I see it now is that it will be just another thing to adapt to, like any other interface/control function.

This is one case where I don't mind waiting. That's because I trust Hubert to release it when he feels it is ready, not just getting it out the door. Meeting some arbatrary deadline means little to me if the product is not finished. Some companies seem to think that expecting me to DL patches to correct problems is standard procedure. Those companies will usually lose any repeat business from me. Getting it right (or at least very, very close to it) at the initial release is one reason BFC can count on my continued patronage.

I have come to the conclusion that the only one consistantly correct is Elvis. You are all wankers.
