Oh, come on, Lars. Everyone knows Dip & Twiddle was never released. It's just vaporware. BTW, I agree with you, even though I'm the type to check everything almost every turn.

Playing a saved game, where I had just taken Paris. Ended the turn, and got 693 plunder. Then I decided to quit and come back to it later. Second load and end of the turn netted 900+ plunder. Subsequent trials revealed similar swings in the amount of plunder. Now, I realize that different conquer dates, differing numbers of casualties inflicted and other variables may affect plunder. But this was the same turn each time. I moved nothing, killed or damaged no other units, just hit end turn. A 200+ MPP swing is huge in this game, especially at this early point. The different plunders gained in Poland and other minor countries (say 38 vs. 44) is a larger percentage of the total, but 5 or 6 MPP isn't enough to swing the game. 200 or more can be a game killer. Please make this less random. Poor plunder, combined with unlucky returns on research could make luck more of a factor than skill.

Lars apparently thinks the way to use his U-boats in SC is by ramming. So far, the French navy has suffered more damage from heavy seas than from the vaunted Kriegsmarine. If this is any indication, the French army will survive well into 1943.

I had tried to save a game in progress, and it crashed to desktop. I think the problem may be related to the use of special characters in the save name. I tried to save the file as "winning?". Evidently, the computer didn't think so, and booted me out.

Retributar, the solution is to upgrade the unit with motorization, and get it to a city. Then you can either op move it, transport it, or prepare it for another drop.

Night, you can't disband units of minors. Best to just use it to spot and hunt subs.
