Okay folks, I can take on no more US to European purchases now. I'm sorry, but I've taken on more than I originally anticipated already and its about to turn into a burden. I ordered TacOps 4 with one my first CMBB order on the 7th. TacOps 4 has been in stock, I've not received it either (I always receive BTS products within 3 business days following placement of the order). I assumed all products in an order would be shipped together.

The first battle that I actually sit down and complete will probably be a small early war scenario. Prior to that, however, I'll screw around with the QB parameters and check out as many new units and extreme environmental/map combinations as I can before the bleariness occasioned by sleep deprivation forces me to crash. Good Lord, I keep hoping to look at the banner above the forum and read "Available Now / Now Shipping!!!"

Yeah, that shortcoming, along with the ability to replay PBEM turns were real turn offs for that series. BUT, I have to say that the Campaign Series was an excellent set of computer wargames for its time. A couple of weeks ago I blew the dust off my EF disk and reinstalled it for another go. As its been nearly two years since I discovered CMBO, I'd forgotten the most basic mechanics of the game. Don't know if I'll put in the effort to reaquaint myself with the game, but I'll always have very fond memories of those games.

A bunch of us just happened to be up and perusing the forum when the announcement was made that preorders were being accepted. Based on what had to be the earliest order numbers as reported on the forum, you could feel pretty comfortable in estimating where your order stood.

Uh... not that I would know from personal experience or anything ... a FRIEND, ya, a close friend told me that he made the same boneheaded move as you one time ordering CMBO. I, uh...HE contacted MM and explained the problem and was told that the card number provides all the necessary information; it does not matter if the proper card type was not chosen.

Just the usual coffee, but I'm definitely going to turn the AC all the way down. That reminds me, I'd better pick up a Wagner CD as my ho'made tape has worn out.

I just read a post by MikeD in the thread styled "A few questions", and he stated that the last beta build he received did not allow for winter mods. He stated that the CMBO #s were being utilized for other files. Sorry for starting a separate thread on this, but it seems justified. So, does CMBB allow for winter mods? Thanks in advance.
