  1. There is a conflict with the full game and Norton. Have also similar same conflict with the Demo version 1. Downloaded full game with Norton disabled - installed -.-no problem cmbn launches 2. Exited cmbn- turned on Norton - no problem- game launches 3. Exited cmbn again - Tried launching cmbn again-Problem-cmbn fails to launch. 4. Deleted cmbn-turned off Norton-re-install-cmbn launches. I have to turn off Norton inorder to play CMBN (full game)...same is true with the demo version. Help Thanks, Stingray PS- Love the game the bestest ever!!!
  2. Love your soldier status (CMSF) are you going to make one for CMBNQuestion: What do the symbols lile: ///// mean ? Thanks
  3. Am loving it!!! After playing Road to Berlin (US side) I am re-learning the value of combined arms approach. You need to have the infantry right up with your tanks otherwise the tanks will get toasted. The Germans have some pretty nast hand held AT weapons.
  4. Very nice!!! Thanks Marco...just like the golden age of cmbo...your mods are the bestest. Keep 'em coming.
  5. My expereince is: Turned off Norton -downloaded-and started DEMO. No problem. Exited DEMO and turned on Norton-tried to start DEMo- Problem - would not start. Turned off Norton-Demo still would not start. Deleted Demo - turned off Norton. Re-installed -works OK-No problem. I think there is a problem the Demo and Norton even after a sucessful install. Demo runs only when Norton is turned off. If you run the Demo with Norton turned on..you need to delete the demo and re-install (Norton must always be turned off before starting the Demo). Can't explain why... but this is my experience. Hope it helps.
  6. Have made new: music intro-(Panzer Leid), music splash-(Longest Day Theme) and music end of battle-(Lili Merlene in english). Installed and works on the DEMO. I do not know how to upload to the repository. If anyone can help I will e-mail the files.
  7. Love it !! Great !!! Where are the mods???
  8. Yes !!! Ilike the idea. I too have had problems determining what floor the troops are on. This should also be done for CMBN.
  9. _"It is indeed good to see some of you weirdos here again. I'm already looking forward to making grass mods again...so talk about weird. I'm the old guy with the IPad taking closeups of weed clumps in the park. Very much excited about CM:N, even if it means having to put up with you guys once more." _________________ gunnergoz, Loved your grassmods..used it exclusively.
  10. As a real ole timer, I never left, been here from CMBO to CMSF-NATO. Have been wargaming since the early 70's- started with Avalon Hill's "Blitzkreig". CMBN will the game I have been dreaming of since the early days. Also a proud member of the original "Refreshing Monkies Brigade". Thank you BFC...well done!
  11. How about posting the CMBN Manual? This will at least keep the "Refresing Monkies" occupied. We might even read it too :-)
  12. I had the impression that the side skirts were to cause the shaped charges (bazooka) to detonate prematurely, prior to hitting the main armor thus rendering them harmless. This is the same reason slat cages are installed around the Strykers in Iraq today.
  13. Will CMBN give the player the option to continue the battle after the enemy surrenders? In CMSF many a time after I have manuvered my forces to "pile it on" the battle ends with a surrender before I can excecute my glorious plan. This leaves me frustrated. I wanted to wipe them all out !!! Anxiously awaiting the release of CMBN. Good job on the AARs. Thank you.
  14. When the opponent surrenders, do you have the option to continue the battle? In CMSF sometimes after much manuvering and I am about to pile it on the enemy the QB ends which is quite upsetting. Hope CNBN gives you the option to continue even after the surrender.
  15. Ordered... Mission accomplished .. well done troops All you "Refresihng Monkies" can now stand down !!!
  16. Please hurry...need my panzerfausts while waiting for CMBN. Thanks
  17. I vote for the theme from the movie "Longest Day".
  18. Sorry can't make it. Feb. 26th is not a good day for me. I have a previous commitment. I do hope all you guys have fun.
  19. "There is a tremendous amount of parking around the venue I'm shooting for - it's in Old Oakland and the city went out of its way to provide walkable parking for the area. We can make it work regardless, though - I can pick you up at your car and drive you there if you can't park close enough to where we end up. That part of Oakland is pretty ill-used, though - there tends to be plenty of parking convenient to wherever you're going unless there's some kind of festival going on." Dear Phil, Thank you for your kind offer. Count me in.
  20. Availability of parking near the event is important to me. I can only walk for a very short distance.
  21. Depending on my work load and date... count me in. I live in Santa Clara.
