  1. How do you use a specific map for QB?? Can you choose a paricular map and have it loaded for QB?? :confused: I thought the computer chose the particular map to use. You can only specify the type... ie open, hills, town... etc. If this is so... WOW !!! my prayers are answered.

  4. Is the USMC in Iraq or Afganistan currently using the LAV-25 or other variants? How do they compare with the Strykers as far as survivablility? What do the grunts think about them?
  5. With the advent of the Marine Module, can some one explain the similarities and differences of the Army Stryker vs. the USMC LAV ? IIRC, the Stryker was developed using the LAV as the base vehicle. Is this true? Waiting anxiously for the USMC to arrive !!! Thanks Stingray

  7. Love the USMC MARPAT Woodlands camo. However, still having problems with the vests showing. Like your previous uniform mods the vests do not load. All I get is a white form. When I replace your vest bmp with the vest from the 3rd ID mod the 3rd ID vest comes up. Again it may be just happening to my computer. I would like to send you a screen shot but I do not know how to do it. :confused: Beautiful mod...hope there is a way to fix the vest bmp problem. Thanks
  8. Paratroop, I tried both mods and on both sets the vests did not load. On both mods the vest looks just white blank sheet of paper. Yet when I opened both files the vests bmp are there. Maybe it is just my computer... But I do not have the problem with the 3 ID uniform mod. :confused:
  9. Thanks !!! Great mods. This will complement the NATO mods Gordon will be releasing shortly. Don't know what you mean by deleting MOLLE from model. Will this prevent me from using the original uniforms when I switch back to the original uniforms? :confused: Again, thanks for the mod.

  11. ******* Spoiler Alert ***** Spoiler Alert **** I played (WEGO)with the blue side and won with the surrender of the Syrans. But it was a close one. Just before the re-enforcement arrived (turn 15) all my Bradleys have been destroyed, the sole M1 tank was out of ammo and subseqently destroyed by 4 T-62s coming from the farm side. A T-55 and a couple of BDRMS were attacking the main fort... all I had left to destroy armor were rifle granades. :eek: The cavalry arrived just at the nick of time and the battle dramatically turned. I think the scenario is well balanced. During the first 15 turns I could barely hold back the "injuns" with the 2 Bradleys and M1 (until the ammo ran out). Fotunately, help arrived just in time. To win you have to hold back the attacking hords for 15 turns. Loved it !!!

  14. I noticed that in ver 1.06 a tank in "Hunt mode" will not proceed after it engages in combat. If I recall correctly in the previous version the tank will continue moving after destroying the enemy. Has there been a change? :confused: or am I just plain confused? :eek:
  15. As per your suggestion, I reloaded the various mods. The mod that caused the problem is: Y.A.M.M. v1.2 (a menu mod by S2ke) I don't know if anyone else has the same problem with this mod or just me. :confused: At any rate I am so relieved that patch 106 now works.   16. Love the 106 patch... the pop up menu (shift key) is really nice. Some mods may cause the game to hang up with this message "CMSF has encountered a problem and needs to close..." :eek: When I deleted my Z file the problem went away. I am slowly adding the old mods to find out which mod has a conflict. So far I have added most of my old mods with no problem.
  17. After installing ver 106 the game would stop during loading (at about 60%)and this message would appear: "CM Shock Force has encountered a problem and needs to close." When I deleted the mods on the z file the game loaded without a problem. Are the mods version sensitive? Did not have this problem using ver 105. If so, what mods are compatible with ver 106. Thanks
  18. Problem solved !!! When I removed the mods (z folder) the game loaded and worked. Are the mods version sensitive?? Thanks and what a relief.
  19. Loaded ver. 106 (Battlefront PC version). Game starts but in the middle of loading at about 60% it stops and gives this message: "CM Shock Force exec. has encountered a problem and needs to close." Details are as follows: App Name: CM Shock Force exec. AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: CM Shock Force exec.   21. I would like to have a lable of where the squad is located inside a building. Are they in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd ...floor? As it is, I have to zoom in to find which squad is in what floor. An location indicator box like CM1 would be very helpful. Thanks

  23. Is there a way to adjust the gamma (brightness) for night battles ? I wanted to play a night scenario but the screen was too dark to see my units. :confused: Would appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks and Merry Christmas !!!
