boy ya'll are some touchy posters. Here I am just trying to help out a fellow poster (If one used my jpg then there wouldn't be a need to cut-n-paste BF.c's reply) and I get called names. Reguarding the original question of PBEM capability in the new CM2 games, when I entered PBEM into the search function I was given oh maybe 50 links about PBEM and CM:SF. Some even had the cryptic thread titles of PBEM? and PBEM:Yes No?. So it seemed that the original poster didnt spend too much time "finding" info. Also you will notice that in my original reply I was addressing Abbott, not the aformentioned search challenged poster.

Ahh asshats is it. I see. Next time I'll point you in the right direction and hold your hand until you arrive. Or better yet maybe just cut and paste the relevant text sos you dont have to hurt yer pretty little index finger clicking your mouse button too many times. Or maybe embed the link in my search .jpg.... Naw that would be too easy and stuff. Maybe you could just email Abbott every time you want to find something. Really, he will enjoy that. He is a peach of a man I tells ya, one of them real touchy-feely types.

Hey I wanted Bren tripods also, I just didnt cry about it as much as Dorosh. Thanks for the recap, BTW where did the manifesto go ? I used to link to it from my crappy webpage but the link is broken so I had to point it to the aboutus thingy. BTS Fix or do somefink./ -
Cool way to go Bruce and Co.

that is wrong. Very wrong.

No kidding. I was bored alot also. I typed in combat Zemke. CM:SF deals with combat. Not the before, not the after, but the down and dirty "mad minute" (ok well 30 or more) of combat. [ October 12, 2005, 07:45 PM: Message edited by: Dogface ]

shows how much you really know. or dont know. or never learned. 23 yrs in the biz and you say that Syria would be a walk in the park huh? but if the USArmy had the same equitment then they would not have a firepower advantage right? Counter-Insergancy is boring? Hell in the limited combat situations I've been subjected to, bordom was NEVER a factor untill well after the action took place. Certainly not in the timeframe of CM:SF. Thats it I am sick to death of all this "I know what will be in the game and it wont work ****"(dammit now you made me swear, something ive never done in this forum.) No more for me. I need a drink.

I second that opinion Abbott. But I will add some clouds to the blue sky so they dont get too warm.

good lord man can you not do a search? All of your complaints have been answered by BF.C. no 30 -1 kill ratio, its not a police action. Bunch of whiners that have NO idea what will be in the finshed product but still you know all about it. Christ what a bunch of crap.

St. Lo. No 101st and it has Urban and not so urban settings. Attacks by the US forces and counter attacks by the Germans.

Good lord not another teacher.

That is just sad. What boggles the mind is that the vehicles in question have been ther for 10 or so years, and the military regularly sent tours there. Stupid. Man that sounds like something that would happen here in Washington.

Yes, well no, well maybe....... Um what the hell was your question again? Any diffrence in playing a Vietnam game now as opposed to '67? I guess. Or any diffrence in playing CM:SF now and playing a Vietnam game in '67? The latter question seems to be moot, being as the subject of CM:SF is fictional and a Vietnam game is not.
