Israeli ground tactics in S. Lebanon
Dogface replied to oren_m's topic in Combat Mission Shock Force 1
Do you mean the shower caps? I've been wondering about them. -
Whoa whoa whoa, Hang on there Steve you mean my whole matrixie/jacky chan type tactic, involving slow mo cartwheels, climbing up the sides of buildings, and Drunken Fist Kung Fu I've been dreaming up aint gonna work?? Dangit first TOW and now CM:SF. crap.
-
Dunno, Steve said this. Steve, which other ones are on the list? I presume Vietnam is one, based on your previous comments. Does that mean that wargamers will be forced to endlessly refight WW2 or modern hypothetical conflicts? I know that has been the general rule for flight simulations.</font>

Looks ok to me, just forward of the sling mount. But then again its been about 16 yrs since I saw one up close.

lol nope, new old I dont care. But in an effort to save my bandwidth I only post the search jpg once a thread. That and he is a pooler so I try to ignore him. Also this thread was started back in 2005 and I didnt see the need to rehash the pic. I think now I will just get a nice jpg of teh blogfront tab and post that from now on.

Israeli ground tactics in S. Lebanon
Dogface replied to oren_m's topic in Combat Mission Shock Force 1
@ wade_Angler Ahh no I still dont see how an article titled "9 IDF troops killed in day of fighting" has anything to do with CM:SF. You can fill your post with fun buzzwords like "Asymmetric combatants" and some how make the leap in logic that "since 9 IDF troops were killed in a day, so that must mean that their tactics suck" But without some relevant discussion on what it is that they are doing wrong in the ground portion of this conflict, your posts have about as much to do with the topic of this thread as that article had to do with CM:SF -

None and it doesn't J Ruddy. wade seems to be (baised on the content of his posts) Saviola under another screen name. -

topo maps of where? US? Europe? Middle East? Africa? I'd try Google to start. Though its hard to find free maps that have any good info on them. May be your local library will have something. (Published AAR's W/ maps) -
What will be able to edit in CMX2?
Dogface replied to pad152's topic in Combat Mission Shock Force 1
well seeing as MSPaint comes standard with yer Windoze OS then that would be the cheaper of the 2. Photoshop is expensive (US$649.00 for the new version) but it can do so much more than mspaint. MSPaint is just a art/drawing program where Photoshop is a professional photo/image editing program. -
I dunno, maybe if the yuppies haven't taken too much over. I live on the eastside now so I'm not in touch with the local happenings there anymore. Ya I liked it too. Some guy took a bunch of beer mats and put them together into a gif, he did a nice job.
