  1. Bracket i bracket words here bracket / i bracket. Mord.
  2. What time is this starting on the east coast? Mord.
  3. C'mon guys, I've only been asking this question for three years. Can I get some love, here? Or at least a pat on the head and a lollipop? Shut up, Emrys... Mord.
  4. You may well get actual official South Africans in CMFI. There's still a module that hasn't been announced yet, maybe some vehicle packs (just got our very first one of those for CMBN), maybe an OOB pack, we haven't seen one of those yet. So, keep your fingers crossed. They were in CMAK, so... Oh, and they are represented in mine and DC's Gustav Portraits mod. LOL So, there's a start. Mord. .
  5. That's why I designed this: But yeah, I really appreciate the help (you shall be immortalized in the readme that no one reads). It will save me a lot of time. And as CMBN has shown; if stuff gets missed, it'll be found and added in later versions. Mord.
  6. The Germs won't be as bad as the US and CW stuff seeing that I am only doing divisions. It was all the Allied bats/regs that really drove me nuts. And as I have said many times before, without DC having all the info, patches, badges and such for me I'd never have been able to do the CW guys to that extent. As crazy as it sounds even the tanker berets have their historic badges, we got that detailed. Don't get me wrong, the Germans will be plenty of work 'cause I'll have to get all their symbols, and then create each shield etc. but not near as fiddly as the others. After doing CMBN four times and CMFI, I have streamlined my process and keep plenty of templates. You learn from your mistakes and not having a template is one of the biggest! I'll do what I can with the Soviets. I am not sure if the few brigade symbols I have access to even fall under RT's timeline, so, I'll likely just design some generic patches to represent the various branches, which sucks because I like to have an overall balanced design theme. But at least the Germans will be taken care of. Sure Aragorn, I'll do them up for you. @Aris: oh, I'll have a blast, in between pulling my hair out and screaming at the monitor. LOL. Modding is always fun even when it's not! Mord.
  7. Cool deal. Appreciate it. LOL. Or regret it later. Mord.
  8. I'm good. Vein gave me the links. Thanks. Mord.
  9. Yes. Just remove the z folder first. After you upgrade, put back in and you will be fine. Mord.
  10. It's basically 1.01 with more of the building entry bug fixes tacked on, that some people were still experiencing after 1.01 was released. Mord.
  11. Here's the list I've compiled so far: Heer ----- 11th Inf Div 12th Inf Div 15th Inf Div 31st Inf Div 46th Inf Div 57th Inf Div 58th Inf Div 61st Inf Div 76th Inf Div 110th Inf Div 134th Inf Div 170th Inf Div 197th Inf Div 206th Inf Div 214th Inf Div 225th Inf Div 227th Inf Div 246th Inf Div 256th Inf Div 260th Inf Div 267th Inf Div 337th Inf Div 383rd Inf Div 1st Pz Div 5th Pz Div 12th Pz Div 13th Pz Div 20th Pz Div 18th Pz Gren Div 25th Pz Gren Div Pz Gren Feldernhalle Luftwaffe ---------- 4th Fld Div 6th Fld Div Waffen SS ---------- 11th Pz Gren Div 20th Estonian Div Heavy Panzer Battalions ------------------------ 502nd Pz Bat 503rd Pz Bat StuG Brigades ------------- 177th Stug Bat 185th Stug Bat 189th Stug Bat 190th Stug Bat 244th Stug Bat 245th Stug Bat 281st Stug Bat 901st Stug Bat Sturmartillerie 667 MISC (for the moment) --------------------- 4th Geb Div 78th Sturm Div 286th Security Div Mord.
  12. After all these years I now know what Mikey looks like. We should start a picture thread. I've been wondering what a lot of you dudes look like. Mord.
  13. Yeah, weird, huh? I definitely don't envy you having to update a mod EVERY time they release something. Mord.
  14. I never liked most of those CoH? screams, either. They are too long and way overacted. Oh, and cool video, Oddball. I loved listening/watching the M16 pounding unseen enemies off in the distance. Mord.
  15. First off, thanks Fizou and Myles. Glad you guys are enjoying the portraits in CMBN and FI. DC and I put a lot of time into those bad boys and it's nice to know they are used. http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=114936 That being said I have been wanting to do the portraits for RT since it was released (and have some preliminary work already established). The problem is the research that goes into trying to find what divisions were in Russia and Eastern Europe in 44 is the single biggest time sink in the modding process. Der Alte Fritz gave me some links to PDFs but deciphering them is a PIA, there are a couple hundred and they are listed like 943GLAA, so, there is no telling what information each file might contain and I can't spend hours figuring each one out. And no offense to DAF, he went out of his way to help, so it is appreciated. And in truth I haven't been in contact with him since the first week or so since he gave me the links. So, if you guys want me to do the portraits a giant help would be in getting me a list of German division on the Ost Front in 44-45. If you choose to do it, this is how I'd like to see them listed; For Heer: (number) Inf Div (number)Pz Div (number) Pz Gren Div For Luftwaffe: (number) Luft Div (number) Fals Div For Waffen SS: (number) SS Div (number) SS Pz Div (number) SS Pz Gren Div Keep all the branches together and div types together like above (Heer Infantry first, Heer Panzers second etc. with the division in numerical order), and I can easily scan through them without jamming my brain up. Seeing that is how I name the bmps when I mod them it's like muscle memory and makes it easier on me. You guys could keep adding to the list, and when the next guy has new stuff just cut and paste the list into your post with the updated divisions. An example of what I am talking about would look like this; 85th Inf Div 89th Inf Div 148th Inf Div 2nd Pz Div 9th Pz Div 11th Pz Div and so on. If this part of the leg work could be done by members here, I'd have no problem getting back to work on the mod. But without that bit of help, I don't know when or if I'll get it finished. It's a massive amount of work and tends to burn me out. As for the Soviets, there's not much I can do special outside the few Brigade symbols I linked to in the other thread. I might be able to design some generic patches to represent the various branches, but unless there is some magical site that has Div/Brigade identifications (maybe somewhere on the Russian Internet) we are SOL. So, let me know what you guys think and we'll go from there. Mord.
  16. It's says all inclusive on the patch page for PC's and Macs. Combat Mission: Red Thunder (PC) 1.02 All-inclusive http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_versions&Itemid=317#Combat%20Mission:%20Red%20Thunder%20%28PC%29 Mord.
  17. Huh, kinda like your sex life. Mord. P.S. All words spelled correctly!
  18. Except for this rare case with me, it's almost always Vin's when it comes to mod conflicts. I guess because he alters the strings text which in turn is usually altered by BFC when they do a patch or module. Mord.
  19. LOL I was wondering why the period instead of a comma after the word Blimey. The funny thing is I have been talking to Blimey through emails and immediately thought you were talking to him. I've already removed the interrupt buttons folder. So, the game automatically uses the stock textures. I also had all your interrupt buttons in except for the evade button (which again, will revert to the stock evade button). It's just the one button, but it's no big deal. I am fine using everything but the interrupt buttons. I am just happy it wasn't the silhouettes. BTW. You are missing the Heer C&C icons from your UI mod. All I could find were the Soviet and the optional SS icons (which were listed as German). Oh, and I am running a 7700 series ATI card. Mord.
  20. What name does Proambulator go by on the boards? Or does he even hang out here? Mord.
  21. LOL. I spent like 30 minutes going through the whole RT single vehicle list by month and day, going wth is that thing?! I was pretty sure I hadn't seen it before. I look forward to all the cool vehicles and OOBs the RT modules are gonna give us. Mord.
