I want to pose one question to anyone flipping out over this web page. Would you rather have this ideaology hidden away where you couldn't see it and read it and know it for what it is? This kinda S**t I'd much rather know about and have in the open than hidden away. For the same reason that I am comfortable with people with strong opinions, even ones I clash with. Atleast when someone states and stands by an opinion, no matter how sick, or warped it is, you know where that person is coming from. Who is more dangerous to you, someone who never speaks his mind or someone who lays his idiocy on the table for all to see? And reading about this sorta thing does not make you a Nazi. (I have read The Satanic Bible I am not a Satanists. I have read the Bible and am not a Christian. If someone can't tell that this site is about WWII gaming then they are an idiot. My first clue was probably the "Your world war II gaming source" written in fairly large letters underneath. Sorry can't help you, but I can say welcome to the graphical weirdness of the Voodoo 5500 club. I was just saying earlier in a thread on the tech board that all the owners of the 5500, atleast PC owners, should get a petition going and mail it to Voodoo seeing that this problem is being ignored. A member here, Juardis, received a response from Voodoo on this very subject, and the guy writing it claimed he didn't know what Juardis was talking about, his 5500 ran fine with CM. I think we all need to band together to get something done, because as of right now your stuck with those problems unless you use the card in single chip mode. Mord.

Juardis he is full of s**t. I haven't seen one person yet that doesn't have this problem with the V5500! Here are my specs. Win 98 with the Downloaded upgrade 350mhz AMDK6-2 288MB PC 100 SDRam Yamaha Opal soundcard Direct X 7.a V5500 3D card running at 1024x768 in 4XFSAA driver Version 4.12.01.0636 I have tried all the driver versions out for this card and none do anything to curb the problem. I say we all get together on this and make a petition and send it to them with screenshots. Mord

I am glad that you guys have written them. These problems seem to be across the board for 5500 owners regardless of computer set up, processor and what not. It frustrates the hell outta me, but what choice is there? I love the 4xFSAA as Juardis does and there is no way I could goback to the jaggy original look. Voodoo needs to fix this problem! Mord. P.S I think I'll pen them a letter myself. I was going to before but I didn't think they'd take to kindly to the language I was ready to use.

Hi Mike and welcome, As far as I can tell from what I have read CM2 is in the preproduction stages; info gathering and statistics and what not. as far as when it's done. You can use any mods in the demo if the demo has those things you wish to replace. There are no bridges in the demo so if you installed a bridge mod you wouldn't see it. But trees and uniforms and grass and such can be modded. Mord

Since I have bought CM and had it's influencial sphere around me, my woman has become interested in War films. She watched When Trumpets Fade with me and loved it. Then last weekend she got U547 or whatever that Sub movie was called, all on her own. Because she said it looked interesting. Then the other night she couldn't sleep so she sat up and watched Apocolypse Now. I am like oh yeah! Most dudes gotta suffer through Fried Green Tomato type movies, not I. LOL! The other day she ordered CM for my brother for Christmas. She calls me Combat Boy and really digs that I am into the game. So I can't complain. For all you guys out there whose women give you a hard time ask them if they'd like you to hang in a bar instead. There are alot worse things a fella could be interested in. Not only is CM a computer game, it's also very educational so I think they outta be happy we are at home and not down at the local Titty Bar or tavern drinking up a storm and watching the Football game.
