Could replace the sound files for aircraft with either jet sounds or chopper sounds. The sound files would be the easiest. Could even simulate pre american involvement already having the french in the game. Paratroops squads could become Seals, and Green Beret. Polish could be Montagnards, Polish airborne could be ROK mercenaries, English troops could be Aussies so on and so forth. You could really bring it down to squad level by using sharpshooters as the troops. One man equals one man except for HQs of course. with alittle imagination it wouldn't be too bad. Also try downloading and installing Downlaod Accelerator Plus. You can que all your downloads in a list, set the downloads for start and have the program end your net session for you and turn off your computer when it's done. The acceleration is supposed to speed things up and it seems that it does. I have a 56k connection and rarely connect at more than 48000 and it doesn't take long. I got all of Magua's Normandy mod in about a half hour or less. I love this program and it is VERY EASY to use. I tried many others and this one kicks ass. You already stated that fog of war will be lifted for AARs. But just how detailed will they be this time around. For example, will we have a tally of officers lost in battle? Mord.

My advice is get everyone you come across. Find a grass style that you like and build your terrain around what is visually appealing to your eye. Then do the same with all the vehicles and unis. By then you will be infected and know what its like to feel the pull of Mod Slutdom. After all this, you will frequent this board in a slavering lust, seeking anything and everything that can be put into the game. Soon friends and family will be driven away, plants will wither and the dog tied out back will die, bills will pile up unpaid, your right or left eye will develope a sort of twitch blood shot as they are, and the stench from sitting in your own excrement will start to smell "not so bad". And the whole time this is going on you'll be waiting for that next fix,that next Gimme, that next Modified AFV Rush. Oh the humanity! Get out while you can! It's not too late..Run! Run! Tanks did an excellent job on this Mod! It looks even better in game.(Screenshots never seem to look near as good as in game play.) I think you guys will really enjoy this marsh. He put alot of time into it. He redid it atleast three times and tweaked it about as many. I think he deserves as much credit and praise as the Mod Sluts can spare. Great job Tanks! Mord.

Just grab Bmps 30000, 30001,and 30002 from the bmps folder on your CD and drag and drop them in your CMBO BMP folder on your Harddrive. It's DeanCo's Gunmetal Mod that has a couple of texts BMP's that do not work well in the game. I just copied the BMP's from the CD into the Gunmetal zip to fix that. I have been up all night picking and chosing mods LOL! Maaaan I know that feeling well! I guess I am not the only one that does these things. I spent 8 straight hours one day playing with all sorts of different sets of terrain and then vehicles. Believe it or not I have just as much fun doing this at times as I do playing the game. Then other times it's just a big pain in the ass 'cause I can't get that certain look that I want!! Hang in there Shatter. Mord.

I also own the Live! card. I was extremeley impressed with its performance, when I received for my Bday. It really enchances alot of games. Half life sounded completely different. The great thing about it is that Creative updates the architecture of the chip and other little things like sound schemes right online and the software tells you when you need to download these updates. Last weekened I hooked up my Comp to my stereo. Man you wanna play CM like that! Unbelievable! Mord

Wow! I haven't seen clothing production like this since Kathy Lee Gifford started up her line...you wouldn't be an 8 year old mexican boy would you? Question: are PC users finding my mods too bright? They look pretty subdued on my system look great by the way! You could always incude a regular version and a sub-sub-dude version if you wanted, that would take care of both camps and from the sounds of it wouldn't be much extra work. Options are always nice. Old Dog's Subdude Velvet is nice. It's not too bright and looks very cool with all the other terrain out there. Higher and lower elevations are distinguishable as well. Give'er a try you just may like. Mord
