  1. Done ------------------ "NUTS!" - Brig. General Anthony McAuliffe's reply to the German request for surrender at Bastogne - Dec 1944.
  2. All I can think of is that you may be running CM from the CD-Rom which means your getting the .WAV files from the CD-Rom. Be sure to start CM using the executable in the CMBO directory on your hard drive. C:\program files\cmbo Hope this helps ------------------ NUTS! 3. First you should set the windows screen size to the same size you want to use for CM. Then look in your CMBO folder and delete the file labeled "Combat Mission Bynd Ovr Prefs". Thats it. The next time you start CM it should ask you about setting the resolution again. ------------------ NUTS!
  4. I just received my full game Tuesday and hooked up for a couple of PBEM games. Last night I was on the receiving end of a German 300mm rocket barrage and WHOA! That was impressive! The largest artillery in the demo was 105's so when the first rocket hit it about knocked me outta my chair To think that used to be simulated by a roll of the dice. Thanks BTS, this is a great game! P.S. I don't think my troops liked it as much as I did
  5. First go into update profile and sign in. Next go into preferences and delete all the cookies created by this forum, there is an option there to do that. Then update preferences again and be sure to check yes for storing the board user name and password for one year and then submit the changes. It worked for me yesterday, hope it works for you [This message has been edited by Sgt Stryker (edited 12-07-2000).]
  6. Couldn't have said it better guys. My thanks to all ALL you veterans out there, regardless of when you served! [This message has been edited by Sgt Stryker (edited 12-07-2000).]
  7. IIRC, CM2 is planned for release sometime during the summer of 2002 I think??? I'm sure someone else will post more definite information on this. [This message has been edited by Sgt Stryker (edited 12-06-2000).]
  8. but I LOVE IT!! To think that if I hadn't read last month's issue of Computer Games magazine I never would have learned about this game (They gave an excellent review and their stamp of approval). I downloaded the Gold Demo and besides reading this great board I've played Chance Encounter and Valley of Trouble about a dozen times each the last few weeks. Just received the full game today and I must say Christmas came early! Kudos to Big Time Software for the best game I've ever had the pleasure to play! Now, anyone want to kick some newbie butt in a PBEM game....first come first served Added 12-06-00: WOW! Challenges have come pouring in and I've had to refuse a few. Thanks to everyone but my card is now full for awhile ------------------ NUTS! [This message has been edited by Sgt Stryker (edited 12-06-2000).]
