I'm pretty sure the flash starts at the bottom of the frame because the camera has sensor rolling shutter going top to bottom and the blast happened in the middle of a scan.
Such cameras don't take all pixels at a single instant but there's a bit of lag as it reads data off the sensor. This causes various artifacts.
    See here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rolling_shutter

And we were told that these were only suitable as battle taxis, certain death in a modern battlefield during combat.

It appears that, if the enemy's anti-tank capability is seriously degraded, the venerable M113 can still fight
That's so wrong on so many levels.  Let's take a high-level look.  Until recently, the US was (for the first time in a long time) energy self-sufficient and had the option to improve energy flows from its friendly, democratic neighbour - Canada.

Now, the US faces shortages that have driven up energy costs, disproportionally impacting the poor; is going to reduce sanctions on a brutal autocracy and strategic competitor - Venezuela - to reduce the cost of energy; has been gravely depleting strategic reserves to reduce the pump cost; is considering blocking off-shore drilling; and so is once again at the mercy of OPEC.
Sounds kind of like - not an exact parallel - Germany, and we all know where that has led.

Love fossil fuels, hate them, either way they are necessary in the mid term, and no solution that includes confiscation of corporations and/or their assets - that's what nationalization means - to put them in the hands of disinterested government controllers is going to improve things.  If anyone think nationalization works, the most recent blindingly obvious counter-example is ... Venezuela, which is now a living hell.

Most obliged, sir. We are dying breed in this brutal postmodern world. Herodotus and Plutarch are ok, but if you want something really entertaining I suggest Characters by Theophrastus. 2300 years passed but still comedy gold, Monty Python- style.
In this context, it is worth to look at video of this guy. He is True Bob Ross of military food:
He probably wanted to cheer up Ukrainians on the eve of invasion, so made this lengthly video highly praising its new (post-2014) military food. Beware, this channel is strangly addictive. It will probbaly open another 20-page discussion about MRE-s. But still better than discussing winter socks.😎

There is confirmation UKR troops liberated Makiivka village in Luhansk oblast on the crossroads Svatove -Terny -Yampli' - Lyman and Makkivka - Starobilsk (this was claimed two days ago, but with unclear footage). Russian on LostArmour write that recently in this willage HQ of 144th MRD "had a mess" (probably it was hit), when in was moved there to control defensive operaration and this caused additional chaos during withdrawal

This is exactly what Putin thought about Ukraine in early February.

USA and Israel both are doing the same in peace time. We are at real war. Either what allowed to Yupiter is not allowed to the bull? %)
Our resistance/SOF/SBU assasinate non-combatant collaborators and traitors on occupied territories. So, we have to expect some looses because of this? But the war never holds in white gloves.
Western experts didn't take seriously many things even after Munich spech of Putin, even war in Georgia. Main mistake of westren experts - they tried to fit Russia into western rationalism. This is not working.

Most of the good (US) kit is being worn or carried by Taliban Special Forces (Badr 313 etc) or went to Pakistan.  It will be mostly Chinese knock-off kit that is going to Russia.

If I think about that we just reserved 200B€ to keep gas & electricity prices low, we should rather have spent that money on Ukraine and the war would be over by now... (no, it wouldn't, I know. But you get my drift)
Though I hope that it is true, the source is BILD and that makes it automatically untrue (most of the time). BILD is really the worst. Let's hope, that we have a second source.

About Dugina elimination. You shouldn't underestimate capabilities of UKR agents. I belive this was really UKR action (though we can never know about this), but main target was Dugin and only accidentaly his doughter was killed, because Dugin decided to drive later by other car. Dugin is not "nobody". His "EuroAsian ideology" philosophy is one of fundamental stones of Putin's ideocracy. His ideas had influence on Putin as well as philosophy of Ilyin - Dugin's predaccessor, which unofficially considered as "pholosopher and theoretic of Russian fascism" - Putin cited Ilyin in own recent speech.
Zelenskyi and Danilov many times hinted UKR to reach anybody, who commited a military crime, treason or was involved in the outbreak of hateful anti-ukrainian rhetoric and finally the war.  So, maybe we already heve own prototype of Mossad. And because Zelenskyi is Jew, I think Israel can assist in this in backroom way.

I completely agree that it could very well be that Russians have literally murdered people for their dental fillings. But there could also be other explanations, such as them looting the fillings from people who died from other causes (grave robbery is not exactly nice, but it's not murder), or maybe the box and its contents are from a completely other context and is just being used for propaganda purposes. That's what I meant by "a box looks like a box".
Right now all we have to go by is a pic uploaded to Twitter. We'll probably know the truth soon enough, because either there will be survivors of torture who will come forward to tell their story, or lots of dead bodies with missing dental fillings will be found. I'd like to reserve judgment till then. There's enough confirmed atrocities to be outraged about as it is.

Hi BeardieBloke.  That warning is my choice alone.  I do it so that someone can't say they were tricked into clicking for war coverage and then seeing things that upset their social/political sensibilities.  If anyone clicks and gets triggered, well, they can't say I didn't warn them.  The UKR articles there are all solid, but the sidebar links might fire some people up.
