IMHO, if you are using the keyboard to navigate the camera around the map, you are doing it wrong. Press the right and left mouse button for movement and rotation. Only thing I use is {ctrl}+{click} to teleport the camera.

I would like a .50 cal mod. The current one doesn't have the same oomph. But I would advise against including the sound of dropping brass. You can't possibly hear that at most ranges.

It's not as big a deal as you might think. Tanks and most other fighting vehicles can fire on the move now, so if you want the old 'hunt' function back just use move or slow and that tank of yours will advance, slaying all it finds on it's way. Anyone wishing to old skool 'hunt' with a Stryker needs to be kicked squarely in the pants. :mad: :mad: :mad:

Panzer76, would you happen to be playing QBs? QB AI seems to have some problems. I do not recognize what you say about regular scenarios, where AI has been pretty good.

The demo is the the first look at CMSF for many customers. It's probably better to reel them in with an easy scenario. Giving them some ballbuster mission as an introduction might very easily frustrate the novice player, resulting in a lost sale. But try that dawn battle as the Syrians. You'll find you'll need to be a LOT more cautious. Rest assured! There are plenty of missions that are tough as nails, challenging even for the experienced testers and designers.

There's no specific hull down command. And hull down is modelled, but not like in CMx1 but rather what you see is what you get. If only the turret sticks out you only get to shoot at the turret. So shots on a hull down target won't be reduced by an artificial modifier like before but you get the same effect since the projectile needs to hit a smaller target.

Yup, surprisingly high on my list to have included. Sorting the heroes from the slackers, the dead eye killers from the spastics.

Odd, I have flattened my fair share of buildings. Both area fire and targeting of units inside buildings produced fireworks. If you are using the ' target light' command I will invent a way to punch people over the interweb. :mad: :mad: :mad:

The green Javelin in the weapons slot is just to show you who's carrying the launcher, not the missiles. The missiles themselves, including the one attached to that launcher, is displayed in the equipment screen. You say you had two rounds left. How sure are you those aren't AT-4 rounds? I'm pretty sure all squads lug two AT-4s around also. Also, if troops won't fire the Javelin at the squad in the bunker you can area fire it. Effect is the same.

It does say Syrian surrender. On the thingie of them surrendering but keeping hold of objectives: Yeah, that sucks. It's on list.

In the options screen there is the section for selecting resolution. One of the items is 'use the current desktop resolution'. Voila!

As a tester it's good to hear from the guys for whom it is working as it should. It's sooo worrying to see a game you are happy with go public only for the complaints to fill the forum.

It should say which version you are using at the bottom of the main screen. There's a soundpack made by a certain someone at BFC that's rather nice. I expected it to be included in release 1.01.
