  1. Your voice reminds me of the guy reading the tapes in the game Receiver.
  2. Pretty much the same happend to me. I have been on the fence with this one for a while. I was going to buy it for Christmas and it was taken down.
  3. The option to tailor your own supply dumps is something that should be in the game. Also, the option to add whatever ammo/weapon you want to trucks and other vehicles.
  4. Reorganizes the same squad how? I was under the impression that you could merge different squads.
  5. Isn't CMFI (and GL) not for sale until later this month so they can work on the 4.0 update?
  6. Looks like the link on page 4 is dead, where can I download this mod? Also, consider posting the link in (and updating) the first post! Thanks.
  7. Maybe you are playing in Iron difficulty that changes spotting for your troops, etc?
  8. This might sound crazy, but Google Earth has a 3D feature that represents bocage, trees and buildings so it might be doable by the right people. This looks interesting. I will keep an eye in the AAR and see if I can learn a thing or two.
  9. This exactly was my doubt! I'm thinking in buying it in the near future and would like to know.
  10. Pretty sure they carried the Lee Enfield stripper clip there and not loose bullets.
  11. What bandoleers are you talking about? Do you have a picture to illustrate?
  12. I have been on the fence with this one for a long time. Maybe it would make a nice Christmas present for myself.
  13. I did this once. British use two kinds of Helmets, one with net and the other without net. So with a lot of help from kohlenklaum I managed to create a mix of helmet and bereted troops. The downside is that you can't use commandos and regular troops on the same battle. It's basically Darknight (DC) Mod updated to work with the latest files, so all the files where created by him. There might be better Commando uniforms out there, don't remember which one I used. I would recommend using Engineers to represent the Commandos, their platoon structure is similar. https://www.dropbox.com/s/8rwq4lj3dpys5uu/Commandos.7z?dl=0
  14. Thanks for your post! I will keep this in mind and look out for that Field Manual you mentioned.
  15. I don't know much about modern warfare.I'm more of a WWII guy and can't say I'm very good at that either. So, could you guys point me to any good source about combat doctrine using AFV, IFV, etc. in modern times? Thanks!
  16. Kinda related to this... Is there any penetration table for the game?
  17. It think this should be an option for every game. I'm a newbie, and maybe experts don't have this problem, but I don't know how every unit of each side is composed. Army vs Para vs Airlanding have it's differences. Some have one Bren, some have 2, etc... The same goes for vehicles. I find it specially hard to know how every German vehicle is armed with all the variants, etc. So I have found myself going out of the purchase screen for PBEM games and into the editor to see how a specific unit is composed. The ideal solution would be to be able to see a screen of the vehicle/unit individually, but maybe they can implement some kind of deployment like what its in the editor. The units you are about to purchase would be displayed for you on an empty map. This is not an ideal solution but it would be usable.
  18. Is there is a possibility to add mods for the British uniforms, that would be great. If we are playing the 15th Scottish Division, and we can have the 15th Scottish patch in their uniforms, why keep the Polar Bears? Give some love to British (Scottish) uniforms too!
  19. Thank you MOS! I wasn't aware there where blackshirt units too. Those pics are a great help.
  20. Maybe a strange question, but I'm thinking about buying CMFI mainly for the Italian troops, even more now that there is an Italian units pack coming in the future. I can't check the Italian OOB in the Demo and since the Italians are so different than other nationalities, maybe you guys can answer y question. Thanks.
  21. Really interesting MOS! Reminds me of the Command Circles in Close Combat.
  22. Are there some books on the German/Italian perspective?
