  1. Yes, but now FI has it and the Italians still don't. It's not fair to give all the nations FT and supply units and hold that content for the Italians just to beef up a future pack. Supply units would cost them just a couple of lines of code, they don't even need a new model like with the FT.

  3. Why Italians don't have flamethrowers? I hope BF is not holding them on purpose to beef up that Italian module they talked about some time ago.
  4. Why not say that engine version 4 brings all games to version 4 and be done with it? Then if you have an update for a specific game you can call it 4.x. Next time you have an engine upgrade, that's version 5.
  5. Truth be told, I have solely purchased CMFI to play as the Italians so seeing those Americans run away in the campaign is not really a bad thing.

  7. It has been mentioned elsewhere that troops seem to flee from trenches too often in this current update. But I don't know if BF has tweaked something related to this behavior. Maybe is an unexpected reaction to something else, like the new spacing or peeking around corners have unexpectedly changed the trench behavior? But that's just my guess.
  8. Ok, problem solved, sorry for derailing this topic that I hope is getting some attention from the bug squashers in BF. The problem with Juju's mod was that I was using only the CMFI folder and you actually need both the CMFI and CMBN folders, because some textures are reused.

  10. The problem I have is that some images are not showing up. For example, British rifles show up, but that same unit has a Thompson and that shows the regular silhouette. The UI is the regular one, background is the regular one, etc. Attached picture from Kiwi Soldiers.
  11. Bersaglieri units would benefit from Motorcycles. And from that to cavalry is only a step. I really liked that movie by the way. A real war movie with plausible action.
  12. Hello Kohlenklau! How are you? I have been playing around with your Africa mod for CMFI and it's amazing! I have a couple of questions. The mod I'm using is the one you linked for me on January. Does this mod have everything I need for playing the Kasserine Rearguard scenario or is this scenario played with a different set of mods? Also, I have been playing around with the scenario editor and was wondering if you have any tips for creating a believable desert environment? What time and place is this mod best suited for? Would it be ok for a 1941 scenario? I want to do something for the Italians. I'm reading "Iron Hulls, Iron Hearts" and there are a couple of interesting scenarios for the Ariete Division, although we are missing M13/40 tanks for late 1941... Anyway, if you have any tips for terrain send them my way please! Thanks!
  13. Italian Heavy Machinneguns are still carrying 60mm HE rounds. I noticed this in the demo but I was hoping that it was already corrected in the full game, specially after the whole OOB rework they have been doing.   15. I had played maybe 2 or 3 turns of the previous version so I did know the barrage was coming and that there was not much risk in running like that. For the first few turns I was moving really fast because I did not know how fast or in what numbers where the bad guys coming from the street with obvious intentions of taking the TV station, so I wanted to be out of there ASAP. In Old Town I took it down a notch because that was unknown territory. Don't know of any mods for Sarandoy uniforms or faces. I think the game looks like that because this scenario is pretty heavy and I was experiencing quite a bit of lag. I'm really glad you liked it, there will be a next episode if their adventures are interesting enough. Right now I'm rushing some support units into Old Town and probably a BMP to resupply them. They might be ordered to retake the TV station later on.

  17. Maybe you could make the exit zone one square wider along the edge of the map. I don't think this would change much but it would make it more visible.
  18. I'm not many turns into this scenario, maybe 10 or so. What I did was abandon the TV station immediately and now the TV crew and the platoon acting as bodyguards are crawling trough the old town on their way to the Government Buildings. I have not evacuated anyone yet. My plan was to hold tight until the reinforcements arrive. Maybe this was not the right call...
  19. It has open grounds that are hard to find in Normandy. And it's a nice change of peace from the usual hedge clearing.
  20. USA collaborating with Russia to stop Turkey. Now finally UN is investigating Turkish crimes against Kurds and the Netherlands are cancelling meetings with Turkish politicians on the grounds that democracy is under pressure in Turkey all the while Turkish politicians display fascist "grey wolf" signs left and right. And we are talking about a country that is part of NATO!
  21. My expectations where in line with the game being released mid-january so I'm already disappointed. JK, but I hope it won't be much longer.
