Cameroon
Yeah, that does seem small doesn't it? Maybe it compresses well?
Pzman
Does sound rather small considering the game is supposed to be around 1GB when uncompressed. The question is, does your card get charged right away or when the game ships?
Cameroon
pzman, it gets charged immediately. It's right under the two order options.
Sixxkiller
And the game size is roughly 1GB so far.

I haven't built the final download version installer yet so that filesize is an approximation (although its going to be around 350-400 megs more than likely) but yes the data files DO compress very well now. The games installed footprint is about 1 gig. Also, the credit card is charged immediately. Madmatt

Cameroon
Originally posted by Denwad: when does this end? i get paid on friday If it's like the Theater of War pre-order, it won't end until right before the actual release day. Would be good to have an official word though, for those evaluating whether or not they want the Deluxe for 10 less

John Kettler
Madmatt, Congratulations to everyone involved! The Deluxe Edition and the way it's implemented are fine ideas and should generate some real buzz in the community. Never heard of a mousepad with game assist info before! Sgt Joch
Deluxe version ordered. The 4 year wait is almost over.
panzermartin
Its great news that the download file size is that small. It makes sense too, since CMSF is a graphic lite game, with no videos and extras and with less units and textures than CMBB for instance. I have been waiting for years but some hours less in the download process will be godsend
H.W. Guderian
G'day B.F., Congrats on the soon to be reached milestone. Now that CM:SF is open for business . . . Is it possible to get some final clarity on the availability of a native Mac OS X version and the time-frame so Mac Intel based customers can make informed purchase decisions? Apologies in advance if I've somehow missed something in your pre-order announcement in regards to a Mac OS X road-map. Cheers.

Fugazzi
One order of Deluxe CMSF for me ! Just a suggestion for future deluxe editions of CM games : maybe the devs could sign the poster and the artwork for the deluxe box should be different. Damn I love the word deluxe !
