  1. I'm getting it. If you are willing to wait for a week or so I might give you some impressions. My main concerns are the game length and the AI. As far as I know the story is quite good.

  5. My suggestion for the briefing pic is that the writing doesn't looks like a soldier's handwriting. It reminds me more of the Coca Cola advertisement.

  7. A well done scenario. I like it. I find however that the initial Syrian infantry do not engage in interesting tactics. They pretty much stay where they start and get killed easily.
  8. While playing the scenario "Wadi al Bugger" by Parabellum, I noticed my US infantry was unable to use the javelin effectively many times. I'm not talking about a miss here and there but a weird phenomenon: when the javelin was launched it wouldn't achieve its arc trajectory. It would simply slide towards the target (in the inclined animation, kinda like at the beginning of a launch) and miss by more less 50 meters.Is this intentional ?
  9. So that was BMP smoke ! Now I understand where those dark clouds came from while playing Wadi Al Bugger. I agree with Pandur, it may be Soviet doctrine, but I think the smoke is launched way too far to be effective
  10. Brett Todd doesn't get it. I agree with his comments tooltips, UI and some sections of the manual, but that's it. His review seems to be based on a short playthrough since he didn't find the tutorial campaign. And his statement on the "stealth" insurgents are laughable. I mean doesn't every other RTS give units the power to cloak ? Like snipers in COH ? Yet here it is an unforgivable fault.
  11. Does anyone knows what is the difference between a Knocked Out vehicle and one that is Destroyed ? From my experience I don't see any difference between both status. However I have found in most cases that US vehicles tend to be Knocked Out whereas Syrian vehicles tend to be Detroyed. Any ideas why ?
