On my old desktop monitor (CRT) I used to go 1600x1200, but since I've changed to LCD I can only use 1280x1024. Hope to improve when I buy a new PC (gotta remember to keeep the old rig with weaker card, so I can ran CMx1 games

Vista users that use DX10 compatibile cards - try installing latest Dx9 over DX10. DX10 does not have some features of dx9. Just read that it helps some folks with other games, maybe same thing will help here. Macca

Got mine today. The box is damaged, though. Fortunately, cd and manual are untouched... curious which Post did that... M

It also helped me - just to let you know, lads. If someone uses for instance P4 3.0 GHz Ht and experiences flickering graphics and such - this may help, jut worked for me. Now the game runs fine, however I think that on such CPU with 2 Gigs of ram and a 7900 GS should run smooth on highest settings- it doesnt , though. Gotta lower the settings to improved. I got the same flickering problems, plus all the units shouting al the time like band of retards.and now after trying the game once again it stopped respondingagain. i havent managed to play a round so far. got Intel P4 HT 3.0 Ghz, 2 Gigs of ram, 7900GS, audigy 2 sound card, winXP sp2....

Mine just stopped responding without me doing anything.I just installed latest nvidiadrivers, restarted pc...it is beginning very very bad...

aint the game already in the latest version? anyway, my game stops responding when i wanna execute the turn...

I downloaded ToW immidiately when it was ready for download, went flank speed ahead - 6 MBit/sec. Good servers they've got;) Now, gimme CMSF please;) just a few days to go;) M

I remember the demo of my first Combat Mission game - Beyond Overlord....it made me buy the game...and that game was (and still is) awesome:) I trust in BFC and preordered the game blindly, but I just want the demo to have a bit of the game to play with before I can download the full version from BFC servers:)
