Hi,

I think I should get mine in. "Svoboda"! It's Czech, but could be Russian, Polish, Romanian, Hungarian...

So please put my last name in, Svoboda!!!

Thanx

You do know that "Svoboda" means freedom in Russian, don't you? I don't know...something about that name and communism don't mix.

When thinking up Russian names, remember our last names take the form of objects. Sort of, can't really explain it.

Here's an example: Zhukov.

Origin is the word Zhuk, which means Beatle in Russian.

DAMN!

You mean that Zhukov was one of the original Beatles!?!

Ya learn something new every day!!!

"Yesterday, those damn Germans seemed so far away,"

"Now it feels like they're here to stay,"

"Oh how I long for yesterday..."

Or, if you really meant an insect, then the word would be beetle... ain't homonyms wonderful.

I left it the way it was (capital and everything) to see which clever bastard would make the first joke about it. Congrats, Oberst, you're the first.

Here, have a sticker.
