  1. Has anyone got the time? I'm sure I left something around here somewhere, but I can't remember what it was or when I left it...
  2. Holy cra... What the FRAK is happening here? Where's Peng? There's a new version of Combat Mission and no one woke me up? Oh well, maybe they got the disembark bug fixed by now this time around. What version are we up to and where do I... where's Seanachai? What's going on here? I am going to check the number of celestial bodies in the sky...
  3. If only you knew.... but alas I fear you are too young, and cant HANDLE the truth about MD! </font>

  5. There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, that is Pete, Georgie, and Dim, Dim being really dim, and we sat in the Korova Milkbar making up our rassoodocks... Even a numbnuts like you should be able to figure out which droog you're bein' cast as </font>
  6. I just figured it all out! This bad dream of leading our troops thru mazes of IED's and mobs of children with AK's was all a big ruse! BTS is pulling our leg while they work on their huge secret new game "CM: Yep WW2 Again Cuz WE LOVE IT!" or CM: YWW2ACWLI or for short CM: Y? WHY PLEASE TELL ME WHY O WHY O WHY POOR ME ALACKADAY TAKE ME BACK TO THE PARADISE CITY WHERE THE TROOPS WEAR GREEN AND THE GIRLS ARE FRAULEINS. Ahem. As you were, maggots.
  7. Doh! So tell me, off in this obscure, little used forum (heh) how does it stack up? Will I still be playing it 6 months from now? Will you?
  8. How? It doesnt come out until tomorrow???
  9. Ya caught me! Alas, Im not thrilled with Shock Force either, I mean, bleh, we played CM #1 for a great wargame and #2 (big number two) that I love WW2! Noth this US vs Syria (SYRIA?!?!?) stuff. I had this vision last night that the whole CMSF thing was a big cover-up for the REAL next gen game from BTS: More WW2 greatness. Oh well.
  10. Quick Q: Did anyone ever retrieve me yarbles from the bloody maw of Seanachai? If so, please drop into the nearest US Postal box, preferably wrapped in sheaves of surprisingly absorbant new ten dollar bills. Failing that, a ten gallon hat will work.
  11. Did I not see Von Paulus on that list? I would give him a strong '4'. (Oh and I agree on the ol' Panzer Leader being up there) [ May 19, 2004, 10:11 PM: Message edited by: Panzer Leader ]
  12. Hee hee, Dalem's story was funny, but when Persephone retorted, ZING! He got TOLD!
  13. I liked HOI, and am still playing it. The game was excellent, especially from the 1.03 patch and beyond. Sure there were some glitches, but geez, you guys need to lighten up a bit! And Paradox themselves are a commited company, who continually patch their games, not just to fix bugs, but to add improvements. For example, HOI's latest patch (1.06) adds AI features developed for the game Victoria. Don't mean to sound like a company man (I'm not) but this slamming is uncalled for. I am also excited about SC2 of course, I just hope that Hubert adds more complexity to the game. I like details!
  14. "Precisely why all the above should be so is not clear, but goes some way to explain why, on the disc, the Gods are not so much worshipped as blamed." Five pages into my maiden voyage, and I have to say I'm hooked.

  16. Hang on a minute, WE may just be a Royal Figurehead, but WE still have to sign the document to enact your temporary position. So....You can kiss OUR ring first. KING MACE </font>
  17. Believe it or not I'm walkin' on air I never thought I could fly so Hi-i-igh! Flyin' away on a wing and a prayer Who could it be? Believe it or not, it's just me-ee!

  19. Just to put things into perspective, wasn't the CMBB forum opened at the same time the CMBB demo came out? (Another Saturday I might add...) I guess BFC do things a little different each time...
