MikeyD Posted May 4, 2020 Share Posted May 4, 2020 CMRT module was started, I believe, BEFORE the CMFI module. That thing has been in the works for a long long time. The vast bulk of the art has been in place for quite awhile. Still, Steve managed to surprise me when he semi-recently decided to add a half dozen additional vehicles on top of the rest. The module started big and kept getting bigger. BUT, that being said, there's only two nations' TO&E to juggle and the title's timeframe is just a couple months short of a full year. The bits you'd imagine to be the most difficult are actually the easiest. MikeyD Posted May 4, 2020 Share Posted May 4, 2020 Its all about selecting 'region' when you start a QB game so any QB map will be Russian, Eastern European or German depending on which you choose. If its just woods and streams you won't see a differences. If the map has houses and churches and road signs it will. MikeyD Posted May 31, 2020 Share Posted May 31, 2020 (edited) They may hit retirement age before you see new CMRT material after Fire and Rubble, but there's no reason why they can't eventually do additional vehicle packs, battle packs, etc. They're still got CMBS Marine(s) module and CMFB to VE day left to do wrap up first. Mid-war Eastern Front would definitely be on their short list. But the topic's too big to just be appended to CMRT as a module. PS - A bunch of us have said it, and it's still a good idea.....Add in some goodies from CM:BS to bring CM:SF2 up to date, it's not like the fighting's stopped since 2008, is it?
