It’s a user campaign, check out the scenario depot.
    One more plug for CMFI.
I have to admit I did not originally have much interest in the project. The Italian theater always struck me as a third-rate sector, in RL, but CMFI is fascinating tactically, cool terrain and cool forces. Currently playing the Encore campaign, feb 45: mountain terrain, elite U.S. vs German mountain forces, Brazilian infantry with surplus WW1 U.S. equipment....hard to get more exotic, short of the Pacific....😉

Okay, let the blood and tears commence...
Thanks to @BFCElvis for a pain-free purchase and install (not to mention my 300 Mbps broadband), I now have the CMFI bundle .
We may be in for a 'dark winter', but I will be consoled by travelling to Italy's warm and sunny climes.  When I'm not in Normandy or on the East Front of course...
KG Peiper will have to wait for now 😮

Hoho there will be blood and tears
like CMBN and CMRT will seem simple to you
when I started CMI, I felt like I had to learn to play again !!! it's a great game
Thanks for this post I hesitate to take FB because for some reason I can't explain myself I never had an attraction for this front. but I read here some arguments that will probably push me to a purchase

CMFI will probably feel more different compared to CMFB...when comparing with CMBN...
If you can afford the bundle...go for it i say 😁...many ssems to hold CMFI as their favorit theatre...
You will get a brunch of new nations to play and by now it covers the entire conflict in that area...
And by the time your 'tour' in Italy is finished the CMFB module might be finished and avaliable as a bundle with the basegame...

And it works fine in my opinion, so no problem here.  Good to know all the same 👍.

I am learning more every day 👍.  I'll soon be like Scarlett Johansson in that enjoyable but rather questionable film 'Lucy'.

Apart from the eastern front i'm actually longing back to Normadie...
Hopefully we will see some new scenarios and campaigns depicting the Normandy fighting that take advantage of all the modules and the vehichlepack...as well as all the improvements that has been made to the editor and gameplay...
It is currently quite a different game compared to when the original Normandy stuff was made...
    Could be intresting 😁

Ok...a light AT-gun vs two late war tanks is a nice trade though...It's hard to keep those guns alive...
Getting kills with them is quite satisfactory 😎...Not quite as much as with hand hald AT-weapons but...almost...and in third place comes the tank destroyers...as satisfactory tank killers 😁.
    Glad things got sorted eventually...

Note to self, must search the forums more 😉.
That is definitely something I'd never heard of.  It explains the fate of the T34/85s, although at the range they were at (ambush of course) normal 50mm AT rounds may have achieved similar results.
Now, let's see if I have a save with it in for a closer look...

Okay so I got distracted by my game in progress which is Myth of Invincibility by Kari Salo (hope Kari is around here).  Great battle, very nice map with some decent assets (Axis of course 😉) and challenging opposition.  So far so good, and I just got that lovely radio 'scratch' and this:

    Love it ❤️.

That is the sort of difference I was asking about I suppose.  Interesting I felt it was the other way round, perhaps it will feel different in other scenarios.
No worries, thanks for the answer anyway 👍.
Oh and thanks @MOS:96B2P and @George MC.  George will be well aware that I am very familiar with his excellent work 😉.  Having said that I'm pretty sure I've played more of his BN battles than RT ones.  Time to fire up RT again and look through the list of battles...

If you are comparing the stock scenarios that comes with the modules then it should actually be the other way around...
Early CMBN scenarios did not have the bennefit of triggers and only half the amount of AI groups compared to RT...
Further improvements have been made over the years...SF2 and RTV also benefits from added AI options like area fire, withdraw and face commands as well as more AI order slots...
All games have since been updated to the latest standard so they all have the same features for use in future scenarios...

Aye I enjoy the logitics side as well - one reason I enjoy large scenarios. You have to factor in way more 'higher' level stuff. I've not long finished up a PBEM and the greatest challenge - as well as my opponent throwing a spanner in at what felt like every turn, was co-ordinating a large force to force a crossing over several defended crossing sites. With the key the one I could cross (that was not under as much fire as the others) was a muddy ford... I'd Tigers also but did  not dare risk em crossing the mud, so they had to wait till i managed to seize a heavy bridge so they could cross. Making that decision in itself was a brill part of the mission! My oppo did a good job though of reducing my traffic management issues by winnowing down my force...

    Indeed, indeed.
Anyway my first bridge crossing on this map (scenario is RT Myth of Invincibility) was that I quick moved first one then another Panther to a stone bridge, they both had a move waypoint half way across and another move waypoint off the other end, then a quick to follow.  Executed beautifully.  Not sure I even needed to slow them down.
There is however a wooden bridge on the other flank which my 'route reconnaissance' says is passable...  Not planning to use it just yet though.
I like this game a lot, even the logistics / movement get to me 👍.
