  1. Would be nice, who doesn't like a PzIII? Except perhaps some poor guys who had to fight in them a bit after technology had moved on .
  2. I agree, would be great. Although the title of the thread is perhaps not quite right? This is before Red Thunder, never mind F&R?
  3. OMG (and ooh err, missus)! Yes I think that's just about what I saw. Perhaps it's a feature of ex-French halftracks ? I await strong castigation from @Falaise and I can only apologise in advance.
  4. LOL, not sure this is that likely. Also I wonder, having only recently started, which decade am I in? The latter I assume but it doesn't really feel like it for me. Hopefuly I'm not kissing too much butt here...
  5. Good shout, thanks. I also like the footer of the first reply there by MrsWargamer; Wargame, 05% of the time. Play with Barbies 05% of the time. Play with Legos 10% of the time. Build models 20% of the time Shopping 60% of the time. Exlains why I buy em more than I play em. My take would be more: Wargame, 25% of the time. Play with Barbies 0% of the time. Play with Legos 0% of the time. Build models 0% of the time but I would like 10% Shopping and cooking 10% of the time? Reading WW2 books and looking at WW2 on Youtube 5%? Walking dogs plus other dog and cat stuff maybe 10% Work fills up the rest, apart from sleeping. Oh forgot driving the car, riding the bike etc. etc.
  6. Understood JM, an early unveiling . Looking very good nevertheless, please keep up your excellent work.
  7. I had a similar issue a while ago with German flak vehicles during setup, but once the game started the crew assumed the correct positions. I'll see if I can find the U304(f) in the editor or QB and have a look... EDIT: Yes I get the same thing in the U304(f)-10. I started the game and they did not assume the correct positions. I realise I'm not talking about the missing textures in the -3 version, forgot to check that. EDIT 2: Not sure about the missing textures in the -3, the inside looks the same as the -10 more or less. The passengers are however in the right positions in the -3 .
  8. Well done for sorting it Mike , I think most of us have been there one time or another.
  9. Hmmmm, I'm all s thanks Ian. If I get it wrong I will be and look like a . Sorry I'm having an Emoji day instead of April Fool's.
  10. Stellabucca! Nice shot, but perhaps not the coffee (a matter of opinion I know) .
  11. With the mention of Italian AFVs I looked through a few images and found the rather distinctive running gear and superstructure. Seems the British design was sold to quite a few nations, including Italy (and Hungary and the USSR). Must have been better than it looks .
  12. Crossing bridges with a convoy of vehicles is always fun too, but that's a different matter.
  13. 4 days is longer than I've experienced, so hopefully quicker. Steam is okay, but not for WW2 titles yet.
  14. @RMM I can only hope that happens when we're playing . So FB is go... I've had lots of moments thinking 'why won't you go where I was allowed to send you to' so I have a lot of sympathy too. If it's down to soft factors fair enough but as you show, it's not always down to that. And I agree, this game is the best. Okay, the best that we've ever found .
  15. I'd say it's a Carden-Loyd Mk VI, although possibly minus its Vickers MG?
  16. +1 from me, I'm really enjoying Phil's massive enthusiasm and work rate and Dennis always produces great work. If only I had any skills to offer (apart from play-testing which is great).
  17. Good words, well said. @BFCElvis is second to none with his support, and I suspect any delays are not of his making .
  18. That looks great. Do I detect a hint of @Lucky_Strike in the shot? Excellent!
  19. Have you had the top secret email yet? If not then it's a no, and I haven't.
  20. Ahah, you echo my thoughts my friend.
  21. I hope so, I really do . But I can wait a bit longer if not, and it's not as if I have a choice anyway. Stepping back a little, talk of the server issue makes me wonder how many fine folks have pre-ordered and how many are likely to jump on-board on release day? With today's technology I would have thought the demand for downloading would not particularly stress the said servers? I really have no idea though, as I'm sure I'll be informed .
  22. Quite right ! I would say whoever designed the things should be vigorously whipped with one for not making them work both ways. Think of the thousands of hours and counting they've wasted because of it.
  23. Well as I'm one of those who pre-ordered (on the first day no less) I'll look forward to my top secret email.
  24. MJ I'm English and have never heard of 'English Beat' . For me it was Hawkwind (still great), Motorhead (my first concert), Pink Floyd (early is best), Rush (yes as above), Mahogany Rush, Scorpions, Ted Nugent, ACDC, Black Sabbath etc. And a few others including the old favourites Gong. Now I'm going too far . I could go on about later techno and trance but maybe another time...
  25. Is this a bit like the 88mm, where the round is loaded underneath the breach? To be honest I don't normally get that close, but I did the other day.
