  1. @BFCElvis I've noted that the Sherman Firefly in Canadian armoured regiments with the Fireflies embedded inside the Sherman platoons don't come with crews, from June to September 1944. What will the platoon commander do without his Sergeant?
  2. Nice, Simon. Mind sharing? I've been trying to use the campaign unpacker but I still don't really get it.
  3. I'm pretty sure that's illegal in a lot of places if they sell the expansions for money. Either that or they'll have to pay the volunteers. It's still work done for a company, and every single company aims for profit, or else it won't last long.
  4. Indeed, I believe I concentrated all the BS I've seen into Ian here. Sorry for that.
  5. "Yes I did. They're a bunch of old farts too, I heard one of them died today 361 years ago! Strange fellow that one."
  6. I don't see what other faith you'd be defending seeing how you usually act when people criticize BF.
  7. Especially with all the fans around. Yep. Fanatics, who'll seemingly defend BF for every thing it does, or doesn't do. IanL's not nicknamed "Defender of the faith" for nuthin'.
  8. Were they being shot at? I'm trying to tell if the AI actually imitates human behavior or if it's just stupid.
  9. "Refreshing" the units in the scenario editors can help with that, since TO&Es can change with each patch and can get bugged. It would be varying degrees of tedious, though. For example if it's just one tank then it's alright, if it's an entire Armored Infantry company (I found a couple CMBN scenarios where there are duplicated Lieutenants in every platoon) then good luck putting everything back in place. Mods usually wouldn't cause this kind of problem if they don't replace any infantry models.
  10. Okay, fair enough. I can just make greys myself if I ever come across some additional evidence, or I'll just stick with the browns if I find some evidence for that too.
  11. Well, I'd reckon that Kubelwagens would be treated like US Jeeps. They would be present even in unmotorized units, either as commander's personal vehicles or specialist team vehicles. The Aufklärung scout teams seem be treated the same apparently.
  12. I'm pretty sure they're for Shock Force 1.
  13. And it's "Fallschirm", not "Fallshirm". Do carry on however.
  14. Gee, user, why make films when we can just take pictures of stuff?
  15. You underestimate the amount of work that requires. Making 1940-1943 CM takes a lot more than just throwing out a few vehicle packs, you also need new TO&Es for every nation involved, which as R2V demonstrates can very well be a colossal amount of work compared to making new uniforms and vehicles. The Eastern Front during 1942 and 1943 was not exactly fought in Poland, Bielorussia or the Baltic States, it was happening in the Ukrainian and Caucasian steppes, if it isn't Northern Russia. Buildings in Northern France and Belgium can be different as well.
  16. He seems to be wearing an Italian tent wrap. In fact the lad with the hat is wearing a Zeltbahn as well.
  17. Here are the fixed Shermans. They're not the best but they do the job. https://www.mediafire.com/file/661b3rnxynmsu0i/Aris_Sherman_AiO_CMFI.rar/file
  18. Well, now that I think about it, yeah. It functions quite closely to CM, however entrenchments in GT actually go under the ground and can be deformed by explosions.
  19. Yeah, Graviteam pulled it off. You can only see enemy entrenchments when your troops spot them. However fortifications (long trenchlines, pillboxes) that are permanently on the map show up at all times, you just don't know if they're occupied.
  20. Hah. Reminds me of the picture with the Russian female paratrooper with a big wide grin strolling about in a field with her "buddy" carrying her rucksack along with his own. Don't have it on me right now.
  21. I don't think individual modules come in CDs these days.
  22. Having an autoloader doesn't mean that being a tank crewman is less manual. What do you do when your tank throws a track, or something else fails and doesn't really warrant a recovery crew?
  23. Being able to plan more than one embark/disembark per turn.
  24. Aris did not create a Sicily (tan) version of the M4A1 Mid. Only a mainland (mickey mouse) camo and an OD scheme exist. Personally I had noticed this a while ago and did some switching and stitching to fix that. Unfortunately I won't have my home PC until the end of the week to share it with you. Also, here's to hoping he'll be back for R2V. Right now the Brummbars are sticking out like a sore thumb, and so will the new 76 Shermans and StuG IV.
