  1. Well, Phil. I don't know what to say apart from great job! I don't think I would have found that out by myself.
  2. CMRT's model seems to be working properly. Here it is: https://www.mediafire.com/file/wn6idd5mjgi31r0/sdkfz231.rar/file
  3. You should grab the StuG III F/8 from CMFI instead. Looks more similar to the early short-barreled StuGs.
  4. The rolled sleeve mod is a texture trick. Whoever made it just textured skin on the sleeves. It doesn't really look good to me.
  5. There's no uniform like that that I've seen. I'd say drop the rolled sleeves. To get jackboots only you only need to replace the ankleboot uniform model with the jackboot one, you might have to replace the ankleboot texture as well. You need either M36 or M40 pattern uniforms with some having the gas cape on the chest as well. I was contemplating doing that for some time with Ez's uniforms, so something might come out soon.
  6. Okay nevermind it seems I noticed a problem like that before and promptly replaced it with the CMBN model which actually works. Here it is. https://www.mediafire.com/file/940790tikkrv9d8/pz+iii+g+late.rar/file
  7. I can't replicate the problem on my install, did you do any switching or renaming or?
  8. nope, radios got pretty small by the Vietnam war. The model used in CW would be the same, a PRC 25 or 77. You can see the spare battery pouch on the left.
  9. The scale of the equipment is also incorrect. The radio is huuuuuge, the ALICE pouches are too small, same for the compass pouches. The radio is also missing its frame and spare battery pouch but eh, I'd assume it's a done deal at that point.
  10. Did someone mention the Volkssturmgewehr (MP-507) firing full auto? Because in-game it does even though the real gun is only semi-auto capable (it's even said in the manual).
  11. If possible for the next patch, I noticed that the G41 riflemen don't have ammunition pouches. Unless it was fixed in this one.
  12. Umlaut, maybe you should grab this one from CMFI since it has the proper cupola. https://www.mediafire.com/file/k0ebijt171pjcu8/r-35.rar/file
  13. Well, you can just release your own version later, I'm sure it'll be better than mine. You're free to take from what I've done if necessary.
  14. Did you check the file load order? Do you have models that can conflict with it?
  15. Hello everyone, I've replaced the crusher cap and the sidecap models with the new M43 cap introduced with F&R. I've also made some changes to the model itself so it looks a bit closer to the real thing, and adjusted some textures as well as introducing new ones. The ones replacing the crusher cap will have officer piping. I've also made Gebirgsjager and Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery variants. https://www.mediafire.com/file/dxvqzyvmoizgjy5/zzzzM43_cap.rar/file Drop it in the Data/Z folder. You can remove the parts you don't want, and it should work with the other WW2 games. Enjoy.
  16. Sorry, silhouettes aren't really my thing so I didn't make new ones, only got them from existing vehicles in other games.
  17. Hello again, with the release of Fire and Rubble I have been working a lot on adapting existing mods to the new module. That includes the great GUI mod by Juju who has sadly ended support for it. I have added or adapted weapon icons from other iterations of Juju's mods, as well as branches, ranks, etc. However I will tell you that I have made some changes to it that suit my preference more, so you may have to dig into the files to revert to default. https://www.mediafire.com/file/crldjajbpj56z3n/Juju%27s_Red_Thunder_UI_F%26R_fix.rar/file
  18. Hello, I was messing around with models and decided to fix the fact that the ZIS gun shields are way too straight. Ironically they're at the correct angle on the limbered model, so I took the gun shields from those. https://www.mediafire.com/file/877gv89vtqi35ii/ZiS_gun_correct_shields.rar/file Just drop it in your Data/Z folder and you should be fine.
  19. I have a feeling that an IFV uses its machine gun when it's ordered to target light an open target, while it uses its cannon when ordered to target light a hard target like a building. As for the target order, in the open it will use its cannon and for a hard target it will use its ATGM.
  20. From what I can see they're using mods which are available to anyone on CMMODS.
  21. Catch-22 is a book that represents 12th Air Force bomber crews and their mission count with a lot of dark humor. It was written by a 12th Air Force airman. Guess he's the devil. Bill Mauldin may have made a joke about skipping out on a patrol as well. Down to the pits of hell with him. I do respect the G.I. Joe and I think he was a good guy but I don't treat him like a Greek mythology hero either.
  22. Listen, if you want to gang up on me and make me an American-hater, then go right ahead. What I have to say is that I had no intention in degrading the contribution of the United States during WW2. In fact I spend most of my modding time trying to represent U.S. forces in as authentic a way as possible, mostly unit textures (right now I'm trying to work out how I should distribute HBT uniforms in each division), and I collect U.S. WW2 equipment, original or repro. This was a failed joke and I regret it. Let's move on.
  23. It may not have been obvious due to the format, but it was a joke. I am aware of these great contributions. The American sentiment on combat was not the most gung-ho you could find however, especially in the ETO. If a Joe could skip out on a patrol he would definitely take the chance, just like how an Air Corps aviator would be concerned about the mission count. I wouldn't call that cowardice either, but I would describe it as an American mindset. The Joe definitely believed in going home as soon as he could, while Germans or Japanese knew they were in the show until they were either dead, crippled or a prisoner. This specific movie (in fact it is THE favorite of mine when it comes to the ETO) James stars in definitely highlights the fact, and I am not saying there weren't any G.I.s who fought valiantly either.
