  1. This is not the subject of the discussion but I can not stand criticism of this division so to defend it 2 months later the experience is there… the 90th ID engaged in the fight of Bourg Saint Léonard and a formidable unit. the 1st battalion of the 359th regiment has a front too wide to hold (5km instead of the 700m recommended) it will face for 2 days the 2nd SS das reich and armored element of the 116th. Losing 4 times the village, counterattacking every time and taking over the village,, the A and B companies on August 17 do not have anymore officers. i like this unit the “tough ombres” and i have a texas flag hooked on my wall give given by veterans of this unit Medal of honor in Chambois
  2. I downloaded the silouettes of Marco Bergam with the values of armor but that's not what I thought they do not correspond to the thickness in mm I remember the fantastic info kills of CM1 is there a mod using this system or the info kills list exists as such in printable thank you for your answers
  3. A bucolic image of Normandy with cows resting under the shadow of trees ??? NO THE WAR IS HERE !!!!
  4. I use this mods because houses are very similar of the Normandy houses and every mods of building of this moder http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=2337 your mods is in test thanks for it
  5. I just transformed the church and the house near the bridge that's allfor the rest it's the kampfkruppe Engel maps and the amazing work of ChrisND
  6. it is exactly that sometimes mechanically I tell myself by doing my plans "I'm leaving from Franck's house, I'm progressing to the Duchemin's house ..." The farm that you saw behind the jagpanther is at the Dantec and the castle behind the family of the Priest De Costard. The owner is the last Survivor, these brothers and sisters were killed by a shell in the farm which is on the same map that just west of the wood the 12th SS HJ had installed his pc there and the allied artillery found the radio traffic
  7. I test your mods 3j2m7 I leave it in place my 8 year old son has immediately identified the modification and he prefers! to me, those whom I have heard I find them quite convincing merci pour ce mods !!!

  10. it's great I love your comic strip thank you
  11. For the first pictures I remodeled the houses to fit the reality and show the possibilities of the game. But for the one with the jagpanther, I did not touch anything. As I said before I live on the battlefield and I can guarantee you that the quality of the map is perfect whether it is at Bourg Saint Leonard, Saint Lambert or the club at Montormel. I can everywhere make you hundreds of comparisons photos that will have all this quality. In truth the whole scenario of this campaign, is a madness! Some grumpy will find good on defects, Bourg Saint Leonard is of course not the 2nd panzer attack but the 2nd SS panzer. The author of this campaign knows it, but he has privileged the narrative aspect to reality just as he has taken some distance with reality to give more playability. This proves masterfully his mastery of the events of this battle. I know this battle well, it's my job to tell it, I participated in the writing of several books I regularly write articles and it is therefore in knowledge I can tell you that the mastery is perfect. I do not even imagine the amount of work, historical, topographical, contextual research and the intelligence and passion needed to achieve such a marvel. It's hats off at all work. In French: C'est un Chef d'œuvre !! I urge the author to contact me if he comes to Normandy I will serve him free guide to travel the battlefield. Ps: he will not need a map he already knows perfectly places.
  12. You are heartless recalled Waterloo in a topic opened by a french !!! More seriously, I live on the ground where the kampfgruppe Engel campaign is happening I can not help thinking about the game when i move on the ground ! Of it there is in particular a hedge where I lost my jagpanther or I sigh as soon as I pass there it's there....

  18. It is also one of the advantages of this game you can change everything looking at the photos of 1944 I found that the store (it makes sense) was closed. Come Sarg, here there must be some beer I hope Corp !!!
  19. I agree with you, in Normandy all German vehicles were covered with branches I'm not responsible, here it's just a fault of the game !! The truck is parked on a bush...
  20. Bonjour For the whole of France you have the equivalent of google map but in 1950 1965 you will still see the boats stranded on the beachs and the armored wrecks in the fields https://www.geoportail.gouv.fr/donnees/photographies-aeriennes-1950-1965
