What a shame. Will Battlefront at least appoint someone to occasionally make some  CM videos ?

Of course they are not fighting ISIS, there is no ISIS in Afrin!
When I said "Of course they are" it was regarding this part of the quote: "I don't think they are claiming to be fighting ISIS". What I mean is that they are claiming to be fighting against Kurds and ISIS but there is no ISIS in Afrin.

After Zaitzev requested something be done to DRA-heads I have
tried my hand at re-texturing them. Texture size increased to 512 x 512.

CMA: Soviet Early Summer Uniform By Oleksandr

This mod will provide you with khaki colored early soviet summer uniforms.

Certain details were added to early years summer uniforms.

    Pretty much everything was retextured.
Due to minimalism in provided game textures – modding this game is complicated.
But the longest work starts from the smallest step. So here we go.

Agree with the lads, it's great to CM:A getting some attention.....I don't normally use mods much, but these will be added to my game.
One mod that would make the game look better would be a replacement for the Mig-23 Air Support graphic, the current one shows a picture of a Mig-25 Foxbat.

I havn't gone backwards to 3.0 but I fully agree with Hilts on "the fleeing of troops from buildings and fortifications when a HE round lands anywhere near them!".Please correct that in 2018.Other than that I love 4.0.

This is great Steve but when can we expect some kind of a patch to correct the problem that was introduced with version 4.0? I am referring of course to the fleeing of troops from buildings and fortifications when a HE round lands anywhere near them! We have been waiting over a year now and many of us have had to revert all our games back to version 3.0 to get a decent game.

Ivan Zaitzev reacted to MOS:96B2P in Armored Infantry Platoon HQ
I was generally using US infantry in the WWII titles but recently have started to use Armored Infantry. I like the idea of having the tracks with additional ammo for resupply.  It kind of adds a logistics element to battles.
However I was accustom to the platoon HQ as a separate team in the straight leg infantry platoons.  In CMFI the 44A Armored Infantry platoon HQ is part of 1st Squad.  Same for Armored Infantry in CMBN & CMFB.  I have been experimenting around with the best way to administratively split the HQ teams in a US Armored Infantry Platoon. I found a way, using the administrative commands that ends up with the Platoon Leader (the Lt.) in one team and the platoon sergeant (SFC) in a different team.  There is also C team with three riflemen.  The interesting thing is both the Lt. and the SFC have arty/mortar calling ability.  It is easiest to make all these administrative splits during the Setup phase.   So with the below administrative split there are two separate teams in an Armored Infantry platoon that can call for fire.
Split Assault Team from base and then Scout Team from base.  (If you stop here this scout team has the radio which might prove useful. Or disastrous.)
Place Assault Team and the Scout Team in the same action square and allow them to recombine.
Then take the now combined Assault Team and Scout Team and use Split Teams.
You will end up with three teams two of which can call for fire support.

Following the above administrative splits you end up with the following.

    And C Team

Any other suggestions /ideas for administratively splitting teams?  Please share any tips you may have.

Buddy Aid makes me feel better, so the fact it doesn't actually make a difference to the game score is irrelevant.
    At least, in my opinion...

Bit of both at a guess.....In Mosul there seemed to be a 10%+ change of the gunship shooting at the wrong end of the blue line (despite the target area being 200m+ away)!
The carnage they caused to CTS on such a tiny map during testing ruled them out, even though they probably should be present (Hinds seem to be the most commonly photographed gunship over Mosul).
I've made up for it here though (you get four Mi-24F, in heavy anti-tank configuration).....You need to use them to sweep Hill-121 so your airborne troops can get up there to see what's what in the valley and to keep a lookout for enemy reinforcements coming up the road from the south or over the hills to the east.  Once the Air Controller gets up there he can have a field day.....See image above, that's all him & the Hinds and he'd hardly got started at that point!
PS - In that image the Air Controller is calling a (light/personell 20m+ area) strike in at a range of around 100m, the Hinds placed their cannon rounds with total precision.....All I found there later was corpses!
PPS - While this all sounds like a total pushover, you have to exit the whole Guards Mech Company and its escorting platoon of T-62s off the south edge of the map and they then go straight into scenario two as your main force without resupply.

So, I have a new Android phone that will tell you what song is playing when it hears a source of music. Anyhow, so, the other night while I was playing the Ambush scenario, I paused the game to see the screen say I was listening to Gangnam Style.  Not quite sure how it picked up on that, but I thought it was funny!
