From my experience the AI needs overwhelming numbers to stage a winning attack. And, it is possible to fight a defensive battle without giving your troops any orders at all. But sometimes a scenario designer will get an AI attack spot on in terms of attacking force make up and arty support. I won't spoil your fun or your pain by giving examples, you'll have to find out for yourselves.

I suppose we all arrange our folders slightly differently. In my case I only have one "z" folder and given that "doodads" comes after "Aris" alphabetically it loads without a hitch.

Don't worry about the spelling, you only missed one letter out (Dreijenseweg). I took a look just now and the mod is working perfectly for me, stinging nettles all over the place. Where did you install the folder?

You might well be right. But you can't advance and stay 100% safe. Well not with me in command anyway.

Sadly no hop gardens in Normandy, and it would be the wrong season for the Battle of the Bulge. I did once find hops growing wildly in a village not far from Hell's Highway but I don't think that would warrant their inclusion in the game.

The most recent event I was describing took place in the Ciemne mission, although I have had a couple of double hits in the past. In this case it was two half-tracks that had just had the infantry dismount. So they were side on to the tank, very close to one another, and of course stationary. I can't remember exactly how far away the T34 was, but the joint explosions killed or wounded most of the dismounted troops. I was NOT happy.

Just to confuse people some refer to all fields growing cereals as corn fields, whilst others only use it to describe maize fields. So those Limeys might be walking through a field of wheat, but to them they are in a corn field. Of course, it they tried it at home, there would be someone yelling "Get orf, my land".

Quite appropriate that this is happening outside a smithey.

I quite like the idea of troops clambering through broken windows. But, in my head I will be hearing "Oh, Uncle Arthur I'll tell mum if you make me do that. She's always said I mustn't play with broken glass".

Losing two to one shot from a T34 was annoying enough for me.

It would take a fair bit of work to weed out all of the problematic buildings, I wouldn't envy anyone with the task.

Is "hd" a word? And if so, what does it mean? I often see the tool tip "Partial Hull Down", perhaps you could explain what your problem is a bit more fully.
