I think that the video is a tad misleading, as it looks like the OP was using "Artificial Night Lighting", so we obviously have a much better view than his troops do. And I think that the outbreak of friendly fire is understandable, if somewhat annoying. With regards to the scenario as a whole, given that our colonial convict cousin was going for "50% Hollywood", I think he did a good job

Friendly fire has always been in the game. But it occurs pretty rarely, and usually at night. When I played this battle, I was struck by how often it broke out. Although I don't think it was down to a change in the way the game engine works.

Having had a problem with a bridge bug whilst playing "Night at the Opera" as the Russians, I'm taking a break from Berlin to give "The Road to Minsk" a whirl. But, I'll certainly be keeping an eye on this thread.
