  1. I'm referring specifically to a scenario that I'm playing as the Germans where roughly six Wespes are on the map. I have two observers as well, but along with all of the leaders on the map, I can't figure out how I access them for indirect artillery support. So how do I do this?
  2. What do I do with them? They are still shown as 'regular' icons on the map, albeit 'Broken'. If I leave them alone and continue my advance, will they begin to recover and somewhere later in the scenario become a threat again? Do I have to leave some type of infantry unit 'with them'?
  3. Have tried mucking about this forum. So whenever I play a scenario with British forces, the vehicles all have US stars on them. Where is a mod I can download that changes them to British markings?
  4. I suppose this question applies to any infantry heavy scenario (especially a huge one) as the US where German armor is absent. What on earth do I do with with all of those bazooka teams?
  5. I noticed that each 60mm mortar crew has a decent amount of riflemen. So when their mortar is empty, is there any way to shed that mortar and just have them move as riflemen?
  6. So let me be more specific. Playing "Surrender Invites Death" as the Germans. I'm supposed to capture Authie and Franceville. What, on the ground, so to speak, do I have to do to actuall capture them?
  7. When your briefing and mission require you to capture specific towns, what do you actually have to do to get credit in the victory conditions? Half of it? All of it? If all of it, right down to the last building? Do armored vehicles count if they've rolled down the street all the way to the end of the town? Clear out every last bit of infantry class units in the town? Well, I could go on and on. Help.
  8. I tried looking this up in the manual but it's not very specific. I've noticed that the AI seems to be very good at placing it's tanks in hull down positions. When there, I have no amount of frustration with them as they almost seem to turn invisible. Even with my attacking tanks all on 'open up', they get knocked out by these invisible AI tanks that become visible for a bit and then disappear. But I digress. How does hull down work? I've tried getting the 'camera' down to ground level but it's still hard to tell from the terrain graphics where a hull down position might be. I've tried using the the targeting command in setup to see where a hull down position might be but I still can't tell. So to finally cut to the chase, if I click on a tank and then click on hull down, will that tank automatically move to a hull down position?
  9. So still mucking around with the British in My Honor My Loyalty scenario. To fit a British infantry section into Bren carriers, I had to to use the Split command, which created three A,B, and C sections. When I dismounted them no matter what I did to highlight them I could not recombine them. Once again, am I missing something here? PS: I also discovered that I can split a section into just two sections - an assault section and an antitank section. These now fit nicely into two Bren carriers. However, the same question applies: I can't seem to be able to recombine them. The manual seems to indicate that only split sections that have suffered casualties can recombine. Is this a once split always split situation with full strength sections?
  10. I've written a few posts about them previously but I'm back again. Still playing the huge My Honor is My Loyalty scenario as the British again. This time I'm using the scenario editor to try a few things. Good heavens! How many Bren carriers did the British build during WWII? I mean to fully load up a British infantry company requires 36 Bren carriers! British squads have to be split, where the game engine divides them up into three parts, each of which has to fit on just one Bren carrier. Seems a bit ridiculous. Am I missing something here?
  11. I've played "My Honor is My Loyalty" as both sides. Boy am I lost regarding tactics here. I have gone to YouTube many times to try and learn a few things about tactics and employment, particularly regarding scenarios that involve tanks and mech units, but I just can't seem to find any helpful videos in that regard. Both sides here, given this is a huge scenario after all, have hoards of British brens or German 251 halftracks to transport hoards of infantry. This is a meeting engagement, I understand that. But I just don't know how to employ them all with tanks. Smoke helps, as does regular artillery. But all it takes is one or two surviving tanks on either side to simply shred an entire attacking force of brens or halftracks. So it almost seems like one side or the other must eliminate all of the tanks of the opposing side before those hoards of brens and halftracks can really continue. Absent that, those hoards seem to be simply forced to seek cover and this scenario just seems to degenerate into a Mexican standoff.
  12. Playing "My Honor is My Loyalty" scenario as the Germans. One thing that I've noticed after slogging it out with British tanks is that when one of my Panthers is kaputski, there is no longer a tank symbol over it at all. Yet as I peruse the German side to see what tanks are still viable, one 'regular', i.e., functional symbol, continues to hover over one of my Panthers. When I click on it however, it constantly says "dismounted". Is there really any way to get its crew to 'remount' that tank? If not, why is the game engine still showing that tank as technically functional?
  13. I went down this road before with Brens. Now playing the Germans with lots of 251 halftracks, which have a single machine gun mounted on them. Just what does it take to fire that machinegun? It looks like the driver, when the 251 is stationary, can do that, but can he? Or does a mounted infantry type unit need to man and fire it. Also, with these 251's, what's the difference between "Open Up" or not?
  14. Playing "My Honor is My Loyalty" scenario as the Germans. No matter which leader I scroll through to access my artillery support, Nebelwerfers are always denied. What am I missing here?
  15. Playing "My Honor My Loyalty" as the British. So I'm in the setup phase and I start to direct the numerous British infantry 'sections' to load up on the numerous Sherman tanks. No can do. How about all of those Bren carriers? No can do. Am I missing something here? This is supposed to be a huge tank/mechanized meeting engagement.
