  1. There is no "better edge" to USatia. There is just NOLA, the only place on the wrong side of the pond that matters. To paraphrase a slogan used about El Clash Combo.
  2. It's no surprise that there haven't been any new CM related jokes today. We've all been too distracted by the ones that begin "Little Lizzie Trust Fund walks into a TV studio..." Now when are we going to see the rest of those Jagdpanther photos mentioned the other day?
  3. His name is Declan. At least it was when I saw him in Brockwell Park in 1978.
  4. It depends on how long after "Bluecoat" the series of photos were taken. If he was Jock who'd fought in the battle, he was probably suffering from haggis withdrawal symptoms, and was looking for some German sausage. Of course, he could have just been larking about and doing whatever the photographer asked.
  5. Hahaha. Best not do that, the Park Royal brewery was demolished in 2006.
  6. Nah, can't be Paddy. He was filling up barrels with Guinness that he was having pumped down PLUTO direct from Park Royal when the photos were taken.
  7. That's true. Although I've had a lot of fun over the last forty years seeing USatian captions blown out of the water, and long may it continue.
  8. The initials USAHEC would suggest that the caption was written decades after the war.
  9. Yes, you are. It was against the Scots Guards during Operation Bluecoat.
  10. OK due to popular demand. The "Cinderella with the magic wand" scene avec Rickie Lee Jones.
  11. Hahaha. I'm just waiting for the inevitable "What's this got to do with CM?"
  12. And before anyone says anything, no this wasn't filmed in Normandy, and Gallieni died during World War One.
  13. I think that the music in "Subway" was better. The clip ends just before Ms Adjani appears.
  14. Damn, so that puts us back to none with skirts then.
  15. !. Grab all the spare ammo out of them during the Set-up Phase when movement within the Set-up zones is free. 2. Use them as battlefield taxis for HQ and FO units. Just remember to keep them in dead ground as much as possible, as even small arms can take them out.
  16. The last time I told people to say "Aye" some bloke lost his bonce. And I wouldn't want that to happen to George.
  17. No, but I did cheer when I saw Yeovil lose 3-1 at Maidstone many moons ago. They had some gut bucket called Botham playing for them.
  18. For forumites who don't speak West Saxon ... He dresses up as Bo-peep and shags sheep in front of the punters at Fuji Yama Mamas in down-town Yeovil.
  19. I was hoping that Piaf would warble her way through the whole video. But, "you can't always get what you want", as Dartford Mick and the Tax Dodgers often said.
  20. @JM Stuff The mission in Grey Fox's video is called "Over hill and down dale".
  21. Very true. Maybe Charlie and his Orchestra doing their verson of "South of the Border" would work. Although most of their stuff was about Churchill, there were a few where Roosevelt got a mention.
  22. And there was I thinking that it was my job to make sneering remarks about Mr. Pye's choice of music.
