  1. It's ok, you got me with the 1.12 v 1.20 bit!
  2. Wow! Thank you Bil. Very much! Ian is certainly doing a good job of testing me in this one, so there's no lack of story.
  3. Hmm... You're right about the version number. My bad. But it definitely does say the engine version, unless you're referring to something else?
  4. No worries! It was fun to find a way to enhance the story.
  5. Thank you - check out my other comics if you've not seen them already!
  6. Thanks, Mark! That means a lot coming from you!
  7. Everyone's remarks make it worth it. Thank you!
  8. Heh. Absolutely correct. But even in processing pics, it's a nuisance to keep snow from appearing too dark. We remember the bright whiteness of it all, and it is tough to get really right upon processing.
  9. hahaha Rocketman you crack me up! I was thinking he needs a new kitten...and then I saw your post.
  10. There is more than that, there is hunt as well, as far as I recall. But it's not always available. Sent you a PM. You're very welcome!
  11. Welcome to the nightmare of every professional photographer. Getting snow to look natural and sufficently white without burning your eyeballs out is a pain. The hardest part is intermediate light levels with an overcast sky. Give me a bright day any day of the week in winter.
  12. Good, our evil scheme is working! And thanks, BTW.
  13. If you got the Bundle, then you will automatically get CMFI + Gustav Line installed using one licence key THEN you need to download and install the 1.12 Gustav Line patch (which patches CMFI at the same time) THEN you install 3.0. once completed, your main screen in CMFI will say v1.12 engine 3.0.
  14. BFC has these elves, see. And they slave way in strange bowls of juice, or darkened caves, under cruel environmental conditions. Sometimes they surprise people. You are living one of those moments. Be proud. Afraid, giddy even, but proud to have lived through this.
  15. I think those two G.I.s Lang and Tanner would join you...
  16. I like the idea very much, and it's something I've discussed with a friend I PBEM with. I don't think there is anything wrong or strange about a huge map with unequal forces. Balancing it to make both sides face a challenge is tricky however. Sometimes, a gentleman's agreement about what the objectives really are outside of game parameters. You need two players who share a particular vision of what this battle is about.
