  1. Yes, it is required. A help desk ticket is a good idea.
  2. That is absolutely correct. Sounds like an excellent position to cover the bridge well done.
  3. What graphics card does your laptop have? There are a few threads on optimizing Nvidia settings. It doesn't make technical sense that v1 would be significantly better than v2 in fact there would be reason to think v2 would perform better.
  4. Actually you need all of them. In the CMSF2 activate UI enter the CMSF1 keys for the base game and each module and then the big bundle upgrade key. That should do it. Having CMSF1 installed and activated is not required and will have no effect on CMSF2.
  5. I'd report it @Ultradave. While it is true that shots will do that when the model limits are reached and a shot is to be taken (the game doesn't model all limits especially elevation) but it the gun can turn to fire it is supposed to. So, in these cases it is possible that the models have rotated as far as they can it doesn't sound like the MG fits that category and might not be aiming correctly.
  6. I have seen it once. The T90 with aps was on a slope such that the javelin came down inside the aps envelope. I should have captured it because it was a cool surprise - even for me the side that launched the missile.
  7. No, if you reply the turn with artificial brightness off you will see things get brighter or stay the roughly the same. What you are seeing is the brightness addition turned off on you. Same as if you turned it off your self - the game gets darker.
  8. Oh definitely. Let us know what you find. I am at a very reduced game computer time right now. I don't think that is right. We has a bug logged (reported here during the demo) where soldiers were going through a gap in the join between two modules. That has been fixed but it is possible that there are issues left. I am pretty sure that soldiers should only go through a totally destroyed wall. Pretty sure
  9. Yeah, many of us were surprised when we heard it was like that. I'm not sure if having only the 120mm when off map is wrong though. The 60 and 81mm mortars are for close support and you cannot crew them at the same time.
  10. No, the effectiveness of machine guns has not been tuned down. Much more likely explanation
  11. Good question. I think you can have a hit that does not trigger it. Just like small caliber hits get reported but don't do damage. Do .30 cal or 762mm will report the hit but that's not enough to trigger the blocks.
  12. I have hit issues like that, reported them and seen them fixed. I have not seen it happen in a while. If you see one save the turn and share it here.
  13. Good and thanks. I pointed out how the site's current wording is confusing
  14. This is interesting. I personally don't play with random maps so I've only ever made sure it worked. I have not lived with it for any length of time. X mas 2.0 is starting for me so I will not be able to conduct a test anytime soon. Here are a few things you can check. Let's say you want to look at tiny attacks. Open each map you think, from the name, match that and make sure the map editor agrees. List them. Or change to whatever setting you care to test. Then start creating QBs and see what you get. Repeat a lot. Or you can start and report what you find and I'll take it from there. Whatever you are happy with.
  15. You would need to install the demo along side your full game. Just make sure they are in different directories. Or convince him to buy the full game
  16. Did you mean a close miss by a 155mm? Those BTRs are not very tough it is not surprising that they would go down easily.
  17. Where did you find that quote? When I go to the support page on the site: https://www.battlefront.com/support it seems to be correct...
  18. Well that's wrong. The descriiption of the technical support forum says: " This is a "self-help" community for technical support for all CM2 games. To request support from our staff, please go to the Help Desk and click on Submit Ticket. " The above reflects the reality of this forum. Sometimes support people see things here and help but mostly fellow users chime in with advice. But we never have much helpful to say when you have problems with account stuff.
  19. That's a job for support. I recommend opening a support ticket.
  20. Apparently it is correct. The mortar equipped strykers have 120mm mounted and either an 81 or a 60mm mortar for dismount work. Which it is depends on where in the formation they are assigned.
