  1. That sounds reasonable. How about patching up the previous games after a new family release, like the new UI which might come with the Bulge family. Do you think BF would consider releasing a patch for Normandy that would update it?
  2. I'm 23 and playing wego, it's because of the ability to replay that ridicoulous ricocheting AP round killing your hq 50 to the side of the very lucky tank. It's those moments that make me wanna play cm, and if you can't replay, you'll se it once, if you're lucky enough to watch those units at that particular moment.
  3. Sooooo............ "Sarge, get in to the Bieber!"
  4. Can't....hear....anything.....over.... the....freakin.....explosions...
  5. Sure, but I think Arnold has a better way of saying it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PQ6335puOc
  6. That looks absolutely fantastic! Do you plan on adding decals and numbers?
  7. As I said, I'm lazy . Ah but the real problem is that I often don't know/remember which division that goes with what scenario. I guess the easiest solution is to make a simple text document.... But still it would have been nice with a program....
  8. Since I have only basic knowledge on how programming works, I throw this idea out to anyone with the skills to kill it or make it! Since we already have a modpack with all the different division insignias for the US side, wouldn't it be nice to have some automatic swapper outside of the game to streamline things? Yeah I know, I'm lazy, but the real treat would be to have another interface with all the scenarios you have, and by selecting the specific scenario, the program chooses the appropriate Division, and the starts your game. Is this possible? And maybe you can't support usermade scenarios without updating it a lot, but at least you could support all the original scenarios and Campaigns. Sounds good? Is it even possible? Thoughts?
  9. This is great stuff! Thank you very much for improving this already great game!
  10. I installed it in another directory. I think I will download the demo and install it that way, and see how it turns out...
  11. I've tried to do that too, deleting the file, restarting, changing resolution, restarting, deleting the file etc etc, no change I'm running on Windows 7. Could it be something with the OS which forces teh aspect ratio or something like that? I didn't install the game in the program files folder, could that be something?
  12. @Schrullenhaft, theFightingSeabe:Yes , I've already tried both of those things. The game doesn't even respond to the display sizes it gives in the options, it's three different and the Desktop size. Nothing changes, ever.
  13. Hmm, maybe you guys could help me out, instead of making a new "I need help" thread in the tech support forum. My screen resolution never changes, not from the three resolutions provided in the options, nor from changing resolution in the Display size.txt. I thnik it's set to 1024x768, and it wouldn't been much of a problem if it wasn't for the fact that my laptop sports a 1366x768 screen. In other words, when playing CMBN, aprox 1/4 of my screen is two black sidebars. I would really like to have this changed. Haven't had any res. problems with any other games. Thanks in advance!
  14. weeeell actually, just put a exit objective without points around appropriate edges, and it works like a charm. Make a test scenario with some green fanatics vs Unmotivated conscripts, and watch 'em run back to mama!
  15. First I have to say that I'm extremely pleased with the game, and can't wait for the expansions whenever they will come. For the thread, there might be something amiss, so I will ask this: Is there a bug with the german Radio operator? I have never seen any german soldier with radio equipment on him, even if he is labeled as one...
  16. Great work with the editor! I'm playing as the US, and I'm having a blast! I have found two problems though, both C2 in character. It seems like the 1st platoon isn't attached to A company, even at point range the HQ never get contact. The other problem might not be a problem, but guessing by the placement of the light mortars, are they supposed to be attached to the different platoons? At the moment. they aren't so you have to keep them back with the heavy weapons hq.
  17. Looks great! Fredrock1957, I saw on your own site that you have ported two of the Sie Kommen scenarios for cmbn. Is there a chance that you would make the whole project into a real cmbn campaign? It would be a true epic!
  18. I would imagine British paratroopers is the closest you'd get.
  19. When you assault a bocage with mortar and smoke, the enemy has always withdrawn to the next one. When you've done this four times, and decides to just assault the next one, the enemy is always heavily dug in.
  20. Sorry, no it's Swedish. (Kul att det verkar hänga en del svenskar här!)
  21. I absolutely love your germans! I liked the vanilla ones too, but these look pretty battered and just the right amount of weary! 10 out of 10 points!
  22. Uh, not exactly... it exploded to bits by a stug shot, but I'm pretty sure it was because of the artillery ammo onboard that made it so big. PS: I guess the lesson is: Don't bring self-propelled artillery to a tank fight.
  23. Sorry for the png, but it was actually imageschack that converted my pictures automaticaly, from fraps standard bmp, which isn't much better. I guess I'm a little spoiled, Sweden is far ahead in high speed internet. The answer was: Self propelled artillery meet Stugs! Anyhow, look at that crater! It takes cooking of ammo to a whole new level!
