  1. A thousand thanks for making this mods, that Sherman look fantastic, I think I have downloaded all your mods so far!
  2. Great discovery! Have you tried using a "dead solider" model?
  3. Fuser, have you tried out the shader hotfix patch? I tried it and it really improved the looks of the shadows in my game. If you haven't, I recommend you at least try it out! http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_versions&Itemid=221#CM:%20Fortress%20Italy%20PC PS: And your mods look amazing, as usual!
  4. The version with actual numbers will be extremely useful, a thousand thanks to you, good sir!
  5. I also feel it's more unstable than cmbn, but I've played elder scrolls games my whole gaming life, so I'm more of a "Only one ctd/gamebreaking bug this evening? Awesome!" kind of guy ;D And yes, the delete feature is a little clunky, but it works. First you select the savegames you want to delete by clicking to the right of them, and then You click on the delete button.
  6. I guess this is more of a US problem, since 50$ translates into 330 SEK, which is a very reasonable price for a game! For comparison, I think I could get Diablo 3 for around 400 SEk or around that, so 60$. Are games much cheaper in the US?
  7. I've only started up the scenario to look at the map yet, but it looks like one of the best maps I've ever seen in CMBN! I'm playing with Aris terrain, and it looks breathtaking! Fantastic work! I usually find large battles to much for my limited tactical skill, but I think I will try this one out, even if I'll get my ass handed to me!
  8. I think they should create another "tips & tricks" subforum or something like similar to the cm1x games, for us who would like all the tactics and tips and stuff in the same place.
  9. Downloaded it and tried it, the screenshots doesn't make it justice, it looks much darker than ingame. Ten out of ten points!
  10. Don't know for sure since I'm not a scenariomaker, but I think there was a discussion about using Exit zones more often, and that the consensus was that it screwed up the point system, or something like that.
  11. I actually always prefered the italian theatre, or any other theatre other than Normandy to be honest. Every other video game, movie, tv-series, documentary, etc etc has taken us to Normandy a million times already. PS: That said, I'm really looking forward to playing Normandy with the 2.0 features
  12. Looks incredible, can't wait to use them! If you would care for some feedback, maybe you could make it so that HQ units stand out a little more? Maybe having different shape than the rest, or a brighter colour? Just a suggestion, it alreaddy looks very very good!
  13. Aren't they supposed to be 8x8 meters? Not sure though....
  14. The Nvidia drivers improved my shadows alooooot!! Thanks BF!
  15. I would love to be able to use the 1-9 keys for cycling through my groups instead of [alt]+1-9, I always forget the alt key, all the time.
  16. I never doubted that, sorry, it was a poor choice of words! Like I said, it makes the game look really nice! Can't wait for release!
  17. While looking through the new screenshots, I've noticed that some of them have some kind of Depth of field-effect. Is this a new graphics feature, or photoshop? Because it sure looks fantastic!
  18. Nice, nice nice! I'm really looking forward to that Italian campaign being released!
  19. Fantastic, downloading this immediatly!
  20. Just ended the first battle from the US campaign, and I must say that the maps are beautiful, teh mission briefings are excelent work and the units compostions feel very realistic. The battle though, turned out to be 20 minutes of pure humiliation for my part. No objectives captured. Why only 20 minutes? Well, thats' because I didn't have one squad with more than 50% strength by then. I probably got 80% casualities, and I know the battle was unwinable by the 10' mark, just kept playing to get some experience. I didn't look at the battle for spoilers, but I would like to have some tips for getting my infantry at least up on the beach? Should I crawl or run up to the craters, should I wait for the barrages to end before trying to get on to the beach? Can I even continue with the campaign, leaving the first mission as a total disaster? Or will I have no units for the rest of the campaign?
  21. TheBlackHand, I just read in another thread what about your bogging problem, so I kind of feel your pain. But I guess I haven't played the game enough, because I haven't been affected by that at all, thus it feels very strange to call the game broken. Funny Daisy, Stronghold 3 was actually what came to my mind too. Or any Total War game on release day. Or even worse, the charge bug in Napoleon:tw, which was introduced in a patch, and I don't think they ever fixed that? Maybe I've played to many buggridden glitchfests :/
  22. Broken game? Don't be a drama queen. Some bugs and issues, as to be expected, every game has them. But broken? I've seen much, much worse than this.
