I like Force on Force and the original, Ambush Alley. Black Ops, Spectre Operations, Wars of Insurgency, and Skirmish Sangin are all worthy Modern War rules as well. (I constantly go back and forth between miniatures and CMx2 gaming.)

Not possible diegov, but sure wish it were. I often can’t very easily  tell (without putting the camera real close, or inside looking out) if there are windows or doors in a particular side when they are transparent. It would be nice to be able to toggle them on/off.

I've been holding off posting an official update because there's been an annoying detail and a few other things that needed to get nailed down first.  It's pretty much where I need it to be, so expect a post in a few days. -Steve

I can never understand how so many otherwise intelligent people on these boards can't seem to understand and accept in regard the BFC business model.  And, while I'm at it, how so many insist on beating a dead horse over and over when BFC/Steve consistently tell them not to expect release dates, dev logs, etc., etc.
Yes, I'm a fanboi, but not because of the above posting, which is simply pointing out my wonderment at people ignoring the facts, repeated and consistent facts.
I'm a fanboi because, in spite of flaws, bugs, long silences and the like,  I love the game and have the utmost confidence in BFC based on a superlative track record of consistently putting out a superior product, continuously fixing bugs for free, upgrading constantly, back-upgrading older products, etc.,  years.

Really?  This is a volunteer effort by an individual who stepped up and offered to do something to ease the wait and instead of saying thanks man we really appreciate it he gets s**t?  It is his first shot at it and he threw something together to start trying his hand.  If you want to continue to see stuff like this then lighten up. Michael is right on the money as far as I’m concerned, Mousie. The only time I don’t split squads is when moving up the the line of departure and out of LOS/LOF  of the enemy. Also, as for when to retreat or bug out, when playing against a human opponent at least, my rule of thumb is that when I think it’s time to skedaddle, it’s already too late. I’ve learned to start retrograde movement several turns before I was thinking to do so as the enemy presses in and it “seems” they are about to get an edge. In other words, it’s just sense I get probably just from playing the game for so long. And from getting into situations where I’m getting my butt kicked, lol!   I played in a lot of campaigns run by the guys at “The Few Good Men”, and almost always as the Germans, so I was retreating a lot!
