  1. In the manual it says : "Light and medium AA guns have the ability to shoot at enemy aircraft to either disrupt or stop attacks" (page 74).
  2. Usually when I have Panther Tanks I'm a "happy camper", the best tank in WW II, so how to use it ? Always open up for your TC, very important, unless their are enemy infantry close to your tanks. Use infantry scout teams with binoculars to look for enemy tanks, once located, use mortars to button his TC's if you don't have the time to call in mortars/artillery use machineguns and/or sniperteams. Get in good positions try and get in on his flank, sometimes use armor arc to focus on a special area. Use houses and trees to cover your flanks and get in hull down positions as offen as possible.
  3. I have nothing against Seattle Seahawks, actually I have relatives in Spokane so I'm kind of a fan of them, go hawks ! it was that 2 point conversion at the end . Looks very nice can't wait to get the game.
  4. Or maybe Chris was watching the NFC + AFC finals. BTW: How the **** did seahawks win ?
  5. Downloaded it, played it, won it, and had a lot of fun along the way (to Napoli). First mission really great, LOS a big challenge as well as movement on those hilly roads. The teaser scenario mission was difficult but a lot of fun, that SPW was helpfull even if it was not able to move. The mission where you had to rescue the Tank crew was the most difficult, I lost to many men but won at the last moment. In the final mission LOS is again a big challenge, I had to be careful not to move to fast and wait for the infantry. Thanks for doing this Kohlenklau hope to se more from you in the future.
  6. Take the M109A7 Paladin by examble : you have 117 HE + 12 Excalibur + 12 WP at start, If you fire all 12 Excalibur you have 105 HE + 12 WP if you then fire 12 WP you have 93 HE left.
  7. When I moved the assualt guns I used slow command all the time you will have no problem in keeping up with your infantry and bogging down is reduced. Agree 100 %, have you played the 3rd mission ? if not you have something to look forward to.Again command an entire Battalion with support assets in taking a large village.
  8. The cannon on the T-90AM is the 2A46M-5, you can read about all vehicles in CMBS in ChrisNDs exellent Black Sea Manual (p. 102)
  9. I would like to think of this AAR as one of those american western films, the troops in Krichek lacking equipment and food these are the besieged homesteaders, the russians are the bad guys, and you pnzrldr, are the cavalry ON THE WAY TO THE RESCUE.
  10. I think Pete Wenman is right, consider this : Electronic warfare, UAVs, precision arty, APS and SAMs : in CMSF you could just call in airsupport, now you have to calculate with enemy SAMs shooting down your air assets. Spotters : can only call in one mission. TRPs : we did'nt have these in CMSF. Landscape : now you can hide tanks and IFV in forrests and orchards in CMSF most of the time you were in the desert. LF
  11. If you win mission in alternate battle write : [NEXT BATTLE IF WIN] next main campaign battle name

  13. Thanks for the info Wicky, great to know about the Squadron HQ and reloading.
  14. I agree with you Vinnart, just look what happened in this video :
  15. what I mean : Nice to know it will reload without open up but with a 6 man crew, right ? if its a 3 man crew (when the 3 man assualt team has dismounted) I waited 50 min. and it would not reload buttoned up.
  16. Nice to know it will reload unbottoned but with a 6 man crew, right ? if its a 3 man crew (when the 3 man assualt team has dismounted) I waited 50 min. and it would not reload buttoned up. LF
  17. A co quote : "How does the petard get reloaded in the game? In real life I think the crew had to exit the vehicle and do a lot of work to reload it." I did a little testing of the AVRE : you have to open up for the tank commander to reload and you have to have a 6 man team inside the tank so if the 3 man assualt team dismount it will not reload. When it has reloaded it took between 1 and 6 minutes to fire the Petard again with an average of 4 minutes in a 25 minutes testing period. LF
  18. Found out it was on the Sumoa HT, still in 21 PD : http://spearhead1944.com/gerpg/gerpics/image3.htm LF
  19. Oh yes those funny looking halftracks would also be nice ASL, BTW, didn't 21 PD have a Halftrack U304(f) with a PaK 40 mounted ?
  20. The 11th Armoured Division had Sherman Crab tanks attached so why not and .... SPOILER * * * * ...the german Geschützwagen 39H(f) 75mm and Geschützwagen 39H(f) 105mm from the two AT batterys defending could be added to the german OOB.
  21. You have the vehicle icon showing that the pack is installed ? The Priest APC is in the canadian army under armored infantry LF
