I hate to say, but I won it the first time I played it, major victory . The mission is difficult and takes a lot of planning. Infantry: There are 4 OBJ in Stavelot and you have 4 infantry platoons, one to take each OBJ in the town. Move two platoons to take inf. screen OBJ and then mount them up again. I took one AT gun out with a preplanned firemission (medium/harass), after OBJ Screen is secure move kingtigers (KT) forward keep in an angle so you dont take on all SP's and AT-guns at once. Keep the KTs close together and dont use area fire let the US gunners open fire first. Use the Panther in support of KTs but at an other location. I only took out two SP's the rest backed of away from the KTs. Once AT-guns and SPs are KO'ed move your Stummels and 3 PSWs with 75 mm guns forward in overwatch positions and shoot up houses in and near OBJ. Then move in with the infantry in SPWs use short coverarc on SPWs so they dont open fire but stays down, expect high casualties in the inf. platoons nothing to do about that. I had 28 min. when I attacked Stavelot it was enough of time. Used the Panther to hunt the SPs on the high ground at the end of the mission took one SP out that way.

I tried giving The M1919A6 3 waypoints, highlighting the final one but no icon available at all, at any waypoint highlighted or not. Its only the M4A1(76)W (early), its in the second mission of the CCR Campaign and its B Companys M4A1-76's and they had been in combat in the first mission, then Lt. Col. Abrams arrives for the first time and his 76 mm. smoke + .50 cal. AP + .30 cal. M2 is also grey, you have to preserve ammo, maybe thats an issue.

When a M1919A6 MMG team (5 men) is mounted in Half Tracks and ordered to dismount there are no "deploy weapon" icon available before the next turn. In Sherman Tanks (M4A1(76)W (early) some ammunition text is grey, which means reloading I think, but its still reloading after 30 minutes.

This game looks awesoome ! I'm on the first mission in the 4th Armored Div. campaign and Abrams tanks, Shermans that is , looks stunning in the snow. Very nice mission, very much recommended.

Yes, those two icons, and they appear now, a bit wierd but great anyway, I saved and started the scenario again and it was fine, sorry for the false bug report.

Great demo, very nice scenario, BTW in the vehicle UI under reports the two icons for damage report and defenses are missing.

I will wait for the download only, if I preorder then I will get the dvd and will have to pay danish taxes, and danish taxes is like fighting against a Red Army SMG-Company in a forest: a nightmare.

I have uploaded "The relief of Army Group North" to the scenario depot in late december so we will just have to wait for that one.

About the middle picture : we had a saying in the danish military in the 80's when on a break : You may smoke, fart and eat sour candy.

I will buy CMFB for sure, for me its the only wargame out here worth buing. The fact its a base game is fine by me because since CMRT the graphics has improved a lot compared to CMBN and CMSF, my hope is that new features will come in the British/commenwealth module when we cross the Rhine with some of the vehicles used in the crossing by 21st Army Group, like the Buffalo and the DUKW.

It turns out that the commander of the Sturmtiger was a Republican, let not hope half the german army is coming down the road.

The game manual would just be awesome ChrisND, hours of reading to do!

Why did the T72 not fire HE round against the AT-gun ? it seems strange to fire AT-11 against AT-gun.

It is almost winter here in Denmark, we have had our first snow this weekend, I'm doing the a summer campaign, in the second mission of your campaign Ithikial, fighting some very obstinate WSS pixeltruppen while drinking gløgg and eating æbleskiver (dont know how to translate æbleskiver to english).
