JK, Im also a bit puzzled about this strategy and how it will affect sales. Would it not be better if two players could do battle but only the one with the actuall purchases could use new content. I think that would trigger more sales if anything.

You can renumber as usual. Umlaut has released a east front mod earlier.. this is units that fought in the west. You can still mix if you want.

+1 and what made CMSF so good according to me was the posibilty to recreate historical actions in Afghanistan, Iraq etc. Designers with deep knowledge about this made some truly great scenarios.

I think you need to pause the unit and issue the target briefly command for this to work.

Im guessing that its a Pak40 that is responsible for the tank kills? To bad we only have one mortar avvailable in this action. Remember that if the time runs out and both sides are still present on the map (or a ceasefire is agreed before then), the next turn will have the option for both sides to continue the fighting (with according setup zones etc). We might be able to send more reinforcements by then (a Coy of Inf is currently disrupted and couldent join our initial attack). So time is not a critical factor, take your time, use your ammo. City fighting can be a real bitch. Taking terrain and encircling the enemy defensive positions (they can be cleared later) might be a good move. Your choice of course.

Bought it with all the DLC as It was so cheap now, did try the UI earlier and struggeled with it. Regardles I already know it is in now way able to compete with CM. I also expect to get all future DLC for free...

You forgot the 2.0 for 10$. Regardless, you have to view the continued purchase of content in the same way as if you where buying several different games but with no other content than the first release. One game for 150 or so $ seems steep but five games for the same price is not that bad. This is the equivilant of those five other games. Its all about personal taste and what you want to do with your money.
