I had my doubts when I moved from CMx1 ww2 to CMx2 and Shock Force, Im only interested in ww2 I thought. I was blown away by Shock Force. I think you should give the demo of Black Sea a spin to decide if its for you or not.

3. This happening was very, very rare - making it possible in CM would have it happen too often and it would be unhistorical and unrealistic. Something this rare is also not worth putting coding efforts into when other things have priority.

@PanzerMike, Great scenario. I have been fighting it out via PBEM and can finally leave some feedback. I got a total victory as the Germans, Soviet surrender with 12 minutes to go. If we had cease fired instead I think it would have been a major victory for me. Great map with lots of tactical options. Feels real with the elevation changes and nice details. I went up the left with my main effort, moving to the road before swinging right. I also moved two smaller units to the Church and center of the map. I was able to snipe a lot of Soviet tanks from long distance. The Soviets got beat up and moved into positions around the central village, I tried to take it two times but was repulsed. T-34/85s able to kill two Tigers. But as I was creeping in from three sides I was able to reduce the Soviet force even more and In the end it was a clear German victory. Maybe the Soviets should have had a couple IS to balance the Tigers, but at the same time, the T-34/85s proved deadly. This was my first scenario for RT and what a great way to start on the eastern front! Thanks for your work, all in all 5/5 for me.

@kohlenklau, That was good work pulling that off without the aid of that recon coy. I dont think it was in the Axis best interest to pull all their units into the center of town. We migh be able to have them fully encircled within the hour and attacked from all sides with our artillery advantage their situation is not that bright. But it will be a hard fought action regardles.

Best way is probably to play a few battles and test the different options. That way you will find what you preffer.

I have played through fire brigade von S via pbem, my experience is that the side that moves onto an awaiting opponent is at a disadvantage, as it should be.

Aquatica, my reply was not meant to offend. Sorry if I sound short. Your lol, no interest, no replys post came off as a bit impatient to me. Just wanted to share my guess that ongoing projects has priority. The amount of time it takes may also have modders only work on stuff they really are interested in/will use them selves. With that said, there are a lot of tallented modders here for sure and I hope someone will take up on your request. Better yet, that BFC next FI module inludes South African forces.
