Actually, in addition to manual cleaning, I used a can of compressed air. It was very handy to help clean out the fine dust.

I have had mouse problems that I have sometimes solved buy taking the mouse apart and cleaning it.

I am using Brave as my alternate Browser when Chrome seems finnicky.

It seems to be related to Chrome. I have tried a different browser and I have no problem reaching Battlefront with it.

I have had intermittent problems over the last week in connecting to Battlefront.

Play the demos. See which one you like. I do agree, as others have pointed out, that CMFI sounds as if it would satisfy your interests.......so try the Demo.

I just copied and pasted the exe from another game into CMCW. There was no exploded folder either, so I just created one. Just tested everything and it works fine.

Hi Almac, The link takes you to the home page, and then click on the American Flag which will take you directly to the page. The computer I am replacing is an i5 which is becoming a bit slow in running more recent software and games. When I bought it about 6 or 7 years ago it was top of the line. Over the years I upgraded the Video card and Ram which kept it reasonable. The wise thing to do is buy the best you can possibly afford.

Save up a bit more money and go for something like this. Buy as expensive as you can. One can always cheat a little and extend the time allowed by using the editor. I read in another thread that benpark will provide a download for the campaign with increased times.
