Storm Shadow wouldn't need to be operational by the start of the offensive. It would be helpful if it was. But it being ready shortly after the offensive reaches its objectives on the Azov sea would be enough. A system that could fire out to 250-300km would put Mariupol in range of the Kerch bridge. And it would be arriving just in time to do some shaping operations for the follow up offensive.

I saw the uploader mention that this is the second known incident of Russian forces surrendering to a drone, but it should be the first documented case of humans surrendering to a drone.
This surrendering appears to be low efficiency. Perhaps in the future, we might witness each squadron of drones with one drone assign to a special task, carrying a loudspeaker, communicating with the Russian forces below?

Quick take on usefulness of the 80 or so Leo1s supposedly in UKR.  Writer ways will be good tool for mopping up bypassed RU trenches/strongpoints, allowing main force to keep moving ahead.  Also believes will be good for attacking RU forces holed up in urban redoubts.  My personal take is that having a highly mobile pillbox w a big gun and an MG plus good optics is generally a good thing relative to only having AFVs, assuming the logistics cost is not overburdensome.  I think of these similar to the AMX10 -- adding firepower to what up to now were UKR mech units just MGs or BMP mounted guns.  Plus I love tanks.  This is known bias on my part.  😀

Actually, all you need to do is make the logistical footprint a big parts of the points system. When you get smacked with what you can support instead of one Abrams people would make different choices.
