  1. It seems to be an issue that may be corrected in coming patch :
  2. Hello Erwin, could you please post a screenshot to illustrate where that is displayed exactly? Maybe not you are looking for but Juju also made a Stylized CMRT Unit Base Markers & Casualty Icon :
  3. Hi Zenomorph, as far as I know, there is an informal way involving hex editing (thus probably in a gray zone regarding end user license at best). Out of curiosity, what unit is your sizeable and detailed OOB for CMRT about?
  4. KUTGJ Worghern, whenever you are done is soon enough, there will be a before and an after anyway.
  5. Bella! No transparency issue with the black symbols? (Need help to test out the tag thingy btw?)
  6. Hi there, if I'm not mistaking, briefings doesn't mention author's name in either scenarios. Anydoby know who is? (Want to add name in credits while translating). Thanks for any help you can provide.
  7. @Japanzer I'm happy to report that it works! Here is a CMFB typical Straggler Group with both options on. The problem I had was ridiculous! After testing in various configuration for about an hour (Firewall, Security suite, Fraps, Gaming Software, etc. on and off, Windows regional settings), I realized that the Order of Battle and Formation Recorder 263 worked much better when I don't run CM... as an Administrator. Old habit! Then it only was a matter of a few modifications, some images added and Order of Battle and Formation Recorder worked with all CM 2.0x titles I own, including Black Sea and Final Blitzkrieg. Man, your tool is amazing! Here are the modifications I made in GeneralFunctionCM.uws: *Public mods: - added CMBS and CMFBfile path *Functions mods: - Added Windows 8.1 and 10 to WinVer (found values on a webpage, not sure it actually works.) - modified "Fortless Italy" to "Fortress Italy" - Added CM Black Sea and CM Final Blitzkrieg to getCM(OS), getGameTitle *Procedures mods : - Added CM Black Sea and CM Final Blitzkrieg to CMActivate, CMActivateForEditor, CMStart(filepath), Wait_BMP, checkStyleMods(filepath) *Note: CM Black Sea u.s. army bmp files overwrites WW2 era files so it's probably best to have a second OOB recorder installation to not interfere with WW2 titles. Here are the files: I'm probably missing a lot since there are probably several text image and functions (transword for example) that should be updated too but for now I'm just happy that it essentially works. http://superdupontzeserveur.fr/cm/OOBandFormationRecorderUpdate.zip Thanks a lot for your efforts and patience Japanzer.
  8. @womble managed to get a couple saves here, and unexpected results. It seems like everyone have a backstage pass now : Save : http://superdupontzeserveur.fr/cm/WireCrossing_Wheeled.bts Yes, everyone! Save : http://superdupontzeserveur.fr/cm/WireCrossing_WheeledUnarmored.bts Please note that it doesn't work with a move destination at any grid behind the wire, as if one is setting the spot just behind the wire, most vehicles won't even try. Hope it helps.
  9. Thanks a lot Jace11, as you said it saves time. (Certainly as I'm still crawling up 'toshop lurning curve. Edit: and, let's face it, because I'm damn lazy! )
  10. http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=3026 http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=1725 Maybe something could done using these as a base? @Jace11 if you ever want to share your psd, I would be very mucho interested, like a lot.
  11. Last uploaded CMBS version (27TH OCTOBER 2015) is on CMMods III as far as I know : http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=2659 Waclaw eventually registered as an author there so I assume an update might come anytime some.
  12. Change it like i have changed it now? I like what you done! About the shared icon, what about including them so end-users can choose which one to display?
  13. Could it be Normandy Battle Ambience by Necramonium? Want a real battle sound for your game? Try this one out! Three background sounds, one that can be used for beach landings (no waves are heard but it does sound like a beach landing). One that can be used as a normandy town ambience And another for just basic background ambience. *Update: i have added a nice rain battle ambience!* http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=314&func=fileinfo&id=1749
  14. I agree with you that the three dots symbols probably better depict an ammo dump than an ammo bearer. Now I think that what matches best CM ammo-bearer is the little guy Amidali mentioned which is found at platoon (rifle, MG, mortars) level : The icon n°9 and 26 (infantry) with a black circle depict, from the manual, a patrol ("patruglia") or a platoon commander ("Comandante di plotone") while riflemen (Fuciliere) would be the same with an hollow circle instead. About the your icon n°4, 5, 6 and 11, I think the black square denotes a platoon, the horizontal line at the bottom depicts a squad ("squadra"), and the right handed wave at the top (a banner I guess) depicts a cavalry unit. Thus they could be omitted imho. Wings on top of icons n°27 and 28 denotes antiair (controaerei) weapons afaik. As for Génio and other Italian words online translator can't really get, the Handbook on the Italian Military Forces (TME 30-420) you linked, thanks for that btw, does have a lexicon from p. 352. As for n°10, scouts are "esploratori" in italian, as per TME 30-420, but I just can't find any symbol for them so I would say that the crossed circle symbol depicting osservazione e collegamento pattuglia (observation and liaison patrol) is a close enough shot, considering what we do know atm. Now, last but not least, the AT team. I must admit I'm left me clueless as I just can't find such a team in the manuals nor I know what they equipment is ingame. Would you know in which formation they are to be found? All in all Tempest, despite details such as above, I like the flavor that your icons already have, good job man.
  15. "(...)but it will roll over a long piece without crushing it." We probably are talking about the same thing here womble. Videos and screenshots have been posted, not sure to see another way to illustrate what we are observing. Ideas? Anyway, not a big deal as it was that way before, to some extent.
  16. Your great initiative showcased on CombatMission.fr dear Poesel san: Scénaroutai? Thanks for your efforts and guidance!
  17. Even a lone barbed wire section can be passed over as long as it is diagonally-placed rather than whereas orthoganally-oriented. The thing is that while that behaviour is not new as a whole, what Nitouche is pointing out is that it changed, from 3.0 he said. Back in 2.0 (I assume), wheeled armored vehicles such as M8 were able to pass over barbed wire, whatever was its orientation (his two first image in OP).
  18. Enjoy the ride and have a nice day Tempest. Please note that 6078-military-symbols-redux pic have what is said to be 1942 symbols with Sahariana, Semovente and maybe more. I *guess* that Carri M could fit the bill for R-35 for example. Anyway, looking forward to your icons, whatever you choose.
  19. Did some testing on my own and I second Nitouche in her conclusions : Result for both : Coming closer doesn't change a thing : The only way I'm able to get over that one is to find a diagonally placed obstacle and face it : Same goes for 8-wheeled German cars : Anyone could easily double check that, really.
  20. As for the ammo bearer, Amidali mentionned that they are called "Porta munizioni --- Scaglione munizioni" and on page 49 of the pdf manual, we've got these signs : It seems that the common feature is the 3 dots signs so what just that? As for the missing signs, let's ask on Supremo Commando, someone may know. Edit: Just found that on CS : http://www.comandosupremo.com/forums/topic/6078-military-symbols-redux/ And that one, which are function symbol at platoon level the original poster, Jeff Leser, says : http://www.comandosupremo.com/forums/topic/6902-breda-30-exercises/page__view__findpost__p__103552 Another source : http://www.regioesercito.it/regioesercito/redoc/manumil8.htm
  21. That would be lovely! Used Reshade a lot on Il-2 BoS/BoM and it takes ages to get a fine tuned filter. (http://reshade.me/ if you guys don't know)
  22. Tried on another computer and I had that error : I will do some tests, it could be my Windows regional settings or my security softwares. I'll keep you posted.
  23. Found what it seems to be the original source (not exactly the same file name though) : http://www.comandosupremo.com/italian-military-map-symbols.html An online version : http://www.comandosupremo.com/symbols.html Cheers.
  24. Hi Japanzer, [1] a cheap Microsoft USB Optical Mouse 200 Can you please guide on how do I check if my PC is "notetype" or not? [2] on off already. I'll try on another computer tonight.
  25. I mean that it only have background sounds which are only played when there is snow on the ground in the scenario.
