  1. That somewhat depends on how the scenario is scripted & scored.....I like scenarios that start with a bang (or several), but I surely don't penalise the player for casualties inflicted by what is by & large just 'special effects'.
  2. If we are including air missions, Operation Jericho just can't be ignored.
  3. This plus the fact that at 131m their chance of hitting and killing that T-34 are miniscule, but the chance of its return fire hitting and killing them is massive. At least I'd like to think that's how things work.
  4. We need mine rollers & ploughs in ALL the CM titles. God only knows why we don't have them already TBH, I'd be more than happy to spend a lot more money on CM if there were more products to buy.....Vehicle Packs, Campaign Packs, Uncon Upgrades, I'll take 'em all, I'll happly pay upfront too (and I very much doubt I am alone in this).
  5. These obstacles are usually more creatively placed in scenarios.....It's a shame that it's not possible for a designer to build fortifications into QB maps for use by the defender, as I understand it any units alredy present are 'overwritten' when QB forces are selected.
  6. Apparently the Bovington Luchs was assigned to 9th Pz.Div who were still using them in Normandy.....I thought they'd already lost all their Luchs in the east:
  7. Generally they actually do communicate, but it seems a bit patchy with Red/Uncons in CM:SF2.
  8. Could I suggest leaving flavour objects out of your Master Map (or perhaps make a 'Raw' variant without them).....Your map might be of greater utility without them as it would simplify the map conversion process to other games.
  9. That's good to know as that is usually how I find my BMP Bronegruppa crewed in both CM:SF & CM:BS.....I suspect that's neither accidental nor a coincidence.
  10. That should have been a crushing defeat for the Germans! All TURMS-T on the Syrian side again too.
  11. Bizarre.....Defender played me up rotten, as did my previous AV, exclusions galore. Still, all's well that ends well, as they say.
  12. Maybe it wasn't a crater.....Maybe it was a tunnel!
  13. I swear by 'em, have to if you want multipe full mod installs.
  14. Do you have an exclusion set up for your CM install location perhaps?
  15. You appreciate that the most serious warcrime of all is starting a war of aggression? The incidents you are discussing are symptoms of an underlying malaise.....If you don't start the wars, these events won't occur.
  16. You think? Having Americans, Brits & Soviets wandering around the place must have really brought the tone down.....Compared to when they were just bombing or shelling it.
  17. IIRC it's from a mini-campaign, so you would need to decompile the campaign to extract the scenario.....There are tools to do this, but I've never managed to get them to work (although I haven't tried on my new machine).
  18. Maybe you should add a 'Spoiler Alert' to threads like these?
  19. I'd imagine xmas 1945 was an awful lot better than 1944.
  20. Now that's dedication! Even I didn't ping you on xmas! At least I don't think I did?
